Quiven Glist

I have yet to find a woman of you taller folk that I can trust. Quiven gets a shot off toward the jet-haired pirate woman.
If she has cover I will instead attack the closest pirate. If I need to move to see the target, please do so for me, I do not know how tall the structure to the right of me is.

2. Lady Riverbane
3. Marchello
4. Pirates
Kyroden and Pavanna are up!
Pavanna al-Azario
|
Pavanna sneers at Lady Riverbane, "Most foolish of you to go against your word dear. I wish I could say I am surprised, but alas you bore me. Lay down your weapons, or lay down your lives."
Quickly Pavanna moves away from the party, "Let them come to me" she hisses over her shoulder. Touching her choker she invokes a prayer of protection to Asmodeus.
Cast Sanctuary DC 14 Will

If you are using Inflict Light Wounds, it has a range of touch and you aren't close enough to get to them in one move. You can cast it this round and hold the charge though, discharging it on them when they get close. Also, you can crit on spells so I'll let you keep that roll and try to confirm it.
Lady Riverbane draws a wand and fires a Magic Missile at Morvius.

LR: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
P1: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Morvius' arrow misses Lady Riverbane. Pavanna calls out to her god and the two pirates cringe, the minion falling to the ground. Quiven's arrow flies wildly, breaking against the wall. Kyroden moves up to Lady Riverbane but is unable to discharge his spell. Leastrie's arrow sinks deep into Riverbane's shoulder and she looks very hurt.
Lady Riverbane steps away from Kyroden to cast a spell, as wells of grease spout out from the ground around his feet.
Kyroden Ref: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Kyroden slips and falls on his face.
Moving through the indicated squares requires a DC 10 Acrobatics check to move half-speed. Failure means you can't move any more and need to make a DC 13 Ref save or fall. Failing the Acrobatics check by 5 or more means you fall. If you do not move while standing in the grease you do not need to make a check and are not considered Flat-Footed.
Initiatives:
1. Quiven, Kyroden, Pavanna, Leastrie, Morvius, and Marchello
2. Lady Riverbane
You guys are up!
Morvius Eruthiel

Morvius slides a little closer, next to Leastrie, and looses another arrow at the pirate leader. This one flies true despite the obstacles.
Arrow to the lady: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Marchello moves up to the Lady and tries to down her with a wide swinging arc (he moves so as to avoid the grease).
"Stand down or meet your maker woman!"
Attack w. Heavy Mace: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Morvius' arrow and Pavanna's firebolt bring Lady Riverbane crumbling to the ground.
Out of combat.
The book Riverbane tossed to the ground is indeed a counterfeit Memoirs of the Silver Brotherhood. Albeit authentic-looking, its content is worthless to the Society.
When you return to the Scrag Fisher, two pirates still on board plead ignorance of their captain’s conspiracy and readily offer to bring you back to Deadbridge. Following an uneventful return trip, you meet again with the Black Marquis. The man listens to your tale with great interest and thanks you profusely. Being the greedy pirate he is, Bazzak refuses to reward you beyond letting you keep what you looted.
“Such is the way of the River Kingdoms,” he declares. “If nothing else, your involvement in this affair helped free the region of a dangerous ettercap menace. Hopefully, that’s worth a quick mention in a Pathfinder Chronicle. No? Besides, I only just narrowly escaped a coup against my position of leadership. So thank you for ridding my membership of the taint of treachery; I will look upon the Pathfinders with great respect from now on.”
As for Istivil Bosk, he is certainly disappointed by the turn of events but doesn’t hold it against you. He sends you back to Absalom disappointed that the Pathfinders were taken in on a ruse but glad that you all made it out safe and sound.
And just like that you have completed "Perils of the Pirate Pact". Congratulations!
Did anyone still have a faction mission to complete? Go ahead and deal with it now if you haven't already.
