I've noticed some things. Firstly, Fawkes talks a lot. I'd like to apologize for that, if it seems he talks too much. It seems as though Torr just doesn't talk very much, so maybe they balance each other in that respect. Or maybe I'm just unintentionally dominating the conversation. I hope I'm not, and it seems so far (to me) that Torr's being a man of few words is intentional and characteristic, rather than being indicative of a stifled or bored player on Seijiro's part. Secondly, his moods change like crazy. I didn't really expect all this, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of reaction I'm getting from the character with the small pushes that Torr's been providing.
Regardless of anything else, I'm enjoying this quite a lot, so thanks for indulging me! I feel like Torr's story-time will come up on its own pretty soon, but please please PLEASE let me know if you either of you have problems or concerns with how Fawkes behaves.

yes Torr is being reticent about his background a little. That is an in character thing, not because you are dominating things - he is intentionally trying to learn more about Fawkes while revealing little about himself... If Fawkes asks, he will of course speak up now and again, but it's just his nature not to toot his own horn so to speak, so I have no problems in or out of character with how much Fawkes talks.
For being a barbarian, Torr is pretty civilized, (hence the urban barbarian archetype) and he's very sensitive in his own way, so he's sensed things about Fawkes that he'd like to learn more about, hence all the questions -
I guess what I'm saying is have no problems or concerns at present.. Im having a really good time learning about your character, and at the same time, Torr is growing a bit as a character even though he says little.
That's fine. Honestly, it's refreshing to be allowed to move along naturally like this without waiting for the DM to initiate every single change of scene. It allows for awesome character introduction and interaction like this! Yay for character-driven scenes!
Mine too. I tried to find a more folksy acoustic version; Metallica and Thin Lizzy would both be out of place. I've got some ideas for a couple other songs to drop in, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum for the most part.

So sorry - was in a RL pathfinder game for 10 hours today and have d&d tomorrow for about 8 hours... I will post as soon as I can... have to go to bed now, I'm beat.
I hope the pace is OK. I've allowed you to come and go as you please. Very little of what I had planned has happened yet - but I don't see that as a bad thing. If you ever want me to pick up speed, just let me know.
So far the pace is working fine for me. I'm in a Legacy of Fire game in which the GM's pacing is rather terrible. The story moves along in the choppiest way and it's almost painful to watch. I like that you've allowed the action to be character-driven so far; all of a sudden it's looking like we'll be running an alchemist shop during the day and having all sorts of crazy adventures at night. It's practically a sit-com!
That said, I tend to be a bit over-indulgent in character interaction, and I'm fine with speeding up whenever you are.

I will be leaving on a retreat in a few minutes and may or may not have internet access until Sunday evening. If I don't, GM, please bot my character for me.
Just to say I have no Internet at home - it's been intermittent for a few weeks and now it has given up altogether. They're not sure how long it will take to fix. So turns are limited to when I can get to a wifi site.

Sorry - I thought this was just a small one-room court building... so does that mean we can access other rooms without leaving the building? we don't want to piss off the ghost. lol
