I’m going to try a different approach to a campaign log with this one. I’m not sure it will work out as well as the narrative approach, but it’ll be quicker to write and serve the purpose of reminding the players and DM of past events as the campaign progresses. I'm offering my players one action point per game session if they post here to fill in some of the detail that my post may lack

Sypheros 13, 997 YK
Foam River, town of Verselen, Eldeen Reaches, about 100 miles northwest of Greenheart
Mirrim d’Deneith human female sorceress along with three Blademark guild mercenary hobgoblins (Nilbog-scout, Jarvis-fighter, Belladonna—adept/warrior of the Sovereign Host) gained passage on the flat bottomed river boat row barge. Mirrim and her associates sought to travel to Falcon’s Hollow to fulfill an employment contract offered by Gelrion Tess, lumber merchant, who had run afoul of a local lumber union and needed body guards.
Panzadeya half-elf female paladin of the Silver Flame, also passage on Piffer’s boat, seeking to travel to Falcon’s Hollow to deliver dispatches to the local Silver Flame shrine.
Helix male personality warforged artificer, following up on a referral that the lumber consortium needs craftsmen to help repair roads, wagons and barges.
NPCs met: Piffer Gauntlet, knobby kneed, rail skinny and whiskey swilling orc barge captain under contract with House Orien to run supplies to and from Falcon’s Hollow. Enjoys bashing intruders over the head with his steering oar and serving his passengers fragrant goat cheese wrapped in spinach leaves. To gain passage on his boat, you must man an oar for at least 10 hours a day.

Sypheros 15, 997 YK
Foam River, emerging from the Towering Wood about 30 miles southeast of Falcon’s Hollow
Ambush by goblin bandits, who attempt to swing into the boat from trees at a narrow point in the river and harass the party with sling stones. Repelled boarding action, Panzadeya and Helix impressed Mirrim and the Blademark Guild hobgoblins with their élan. 14 goblins KIA, 6 goblins captured, 5 escaped.

Sypheros 16-17, 997 YK
Falcon’s Hollow, about 35 miles south of the Shadowcrags.
Following up on the reasons that brought the barge passengers to the town. After gathering information, Mirrim, Helix, Panzadeya and the hobgoblins agree to join up to help cure the town of the blackscour while adventuring the woods to the north and gaining profit and experience.
NPCs met:
Grenn, laborer at Orien docks who tried to sell a fake blackscour remedy
Bulrin Fenn—Orien docks manager, who gave more details on the town and the blackscour and hired Helix to repair the sagging docks foundation. Also told Mirrim that her client had died of the blackscour days ago.
Brellin—little boy who runs errands for Pendant Argossen, the Silver Flame cleric, and told Panzadeya that Pendant was up north treating lumber jacks and seeking the source of the blackscour.
Valdren Torg—lumber consortium member and lumber magnate, tried to seduce Panzadeya but also helped introduce her to Laurel.
Boudreaux—small warforged scout who expertly balances ales on twin small shields and is a waiter at the Sitting Duck tavern.
Laurel—herbalist and healer who made side deal with Mirrim to obtain the ingredients for a remedy and spoke later that night with Panzadeya about the same issue.
Gavel Thuldrin Kreed—lumber consortium leader, spoke with Mirrim about her presence in town and told Mirrim and her friends he’d offer a bounty on a remedy for the blackscour, as the disease could affect the local labor market and make it harder to recruit replacement lumber cutters and shippers.

Thanks, Aubrey--reading your play by post campaign log is inspiring and entertaining. I wasn't ready to start it yet, but we needed a pick up game for Friday night as we had 3 regulars who couldn't show up for our scheduled FR campaign. The D0 and D1 PDFs came in just in time, so I said "why not?" We're going to play at irregular intervals, as our regular campaigns are still going full bore, so this is just a bonus campaign to fill in the gaps. Eberron is very cool--I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, especially on the Paizo boards, and GH will always be my favorite, but I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Eberron the beginning: As a servant of the Church of the Silver Flame, I am to take missives to Pendant Argossen in the Eldeen Reaches at Falcons Hall. Upon riding the boat up the Foam River, I meet up with Mirrim with 3 hobgoblins and Helix. While rowing up the Foam River, we are attacked by goblins that try to board the ship. The goblins are defeated with the surviving defeated goblins becoming rowers for the captain, Piffer.

Upon arrival to Falcons Hallow, a town that exists because of the lumber industry there, a laborer warns the boat occupants that the town is plagued with the Black Scour. Helix, the warforged artificer, takes a job fixing the pylons for the dock. My first order of business was to go and give the missives to the cleric, Pendant Argossen, and perhaps gain more information. A young boy waiting for the cleric said she had been gone several days to a lumber camp. At the Sitting Duck, the local tavern, Valdren Torg was kind enough to offer his services in showing me around the town and allow me to gain more information about the plague. Valdren works for the lumber consortium with the galval of the lumber consortium being Thuldren Kreed. One of the stops was to the local herbalist, Laurel, at the Roots and Remedies. Laurel suggested the cause of the plague is the water, that a fungus of the Demon Waste is tainting the water up the river. The peasants are the hardest hit because the upper echelon tends to drink ale and wine but the peasants drink the water since it is free. She also gave me the ingredients, approximate locations of these ingredients, and offered a reward of 75gps for finding the ingredients for a possible cure. I went back to the Sitting Duck and met up with Helix and Mirrim d’Deneith from the boat. We discussed joining forces and trying to find the ingredients needed to cure the town of this plague. The three hobgoblins from the boat were also hired. The adventure begins.

HELIX

Sypheros 13, 997 YK
Foam River, town of Verselen, Eldeen Reaches, about 100 miles northwest of Greenheart
Adventure! This is new to me. I decided to keep my thoughts upon parchment to better understand what is, what will be by what has happened.
I was created in a hidden enclave/forge of House Cannith in Cyre YK 994. I was created to be a battlefield medic for other warforge, and received training as an articifer. I was in rest mode, when the Mourning happened. I discovered that all of the warmbloods were missing! Only other warforge were accounted for. Only problem was we were inside a secured underground complex. Good thing we do not need sustenance, for there was none. I did realize that the other ‘Forges were relatively stupid so I organized them into search parties. I found infusion components, a pack, a light crossbow, a morning star, and some money. The exit, a magically locked adamantine door was our only way out. It proved unequal to the task of keeping the Juggernaut inside!
Once freedom was obtained, we banded together and set out to find out what happened to the makers! The land was hostile and we soon lost the smaller forges to creatures that I could not name. One I believe was human at one time, but I am not positive. The scouts had no reference points. They claimed that the land had been altered, as a result we wandered. There was no sky, no wind, no sense of time that I once acknowledged. When I ran out of infusions I rested, then moved on. Battle was a constant thing, and my healing skills unequal to repairing those that were severely damaged. How long this went on I don’t know, but enough that we came right back to our starting point, the place of making.
I picked one direction and kept the rest going until we came out of the mists and found clear skies. There were only a few of us left, the Juggernaut, three Scouts, 4 Battleforges, and myself. The first sign of life we encountered was a patrol of cavalry. We set for battle, mostly readying our melee weapons (all arrows and bolts were expended). Much to our surprise the Captain came forward and asked our intentions! Apparently when the Mourning occurred some type of time stasis occurred, for the year was 997! Also we were no longer considered property, but free beings. We had come into Breland near Vathirond.
The Captain was of higher intelligence than his men and soon realized that we were never in the war and that our knowledge of the Mourning was greater than most. He escorted us to Vathirond, where we were placed in a cargo hold on the lightning rail and shipped to Sharn. There we were interviewed by many scholars, sages, eventually we were let go. During my time in Sharn I had learned of the Eldeen Reaches and that there was work to be had. In Sharn my Cyre markings made many not wish to employ me. I figured the Eldeen Reaches were far enough away from Cyre that the same prejudices would not occur.
I had reached the Foam River and needed to get to Falcon’s Hallow for the job of repairing lumbering equipment. I have to travel on a river barge under the command of an intriguing orc, by the name of Piffer Gauntlet. He constantly drinks from a whisky jar, that he never has to replenish. My fellow travelers are a Paladin of the Silver Flame, Lady Panzadeya. She doesn’t speak much, but did not seem to mind my inquiries of her faith. Lady Mirrim d’Deneith a sorceress who is accompanied by three Blademark guild mercenary hobgoblins.
The cost of passage is labor. This is of no consequence for myself, but the Lady d’Deneith appears to be most put out over it.
Our trip was interrupted by an ambush of goblin slingers, and swingers. The slingers attempted to pin us down with their missile fire, while the swingers attempted to board via ropes. Their aim and skill lacked as many fell in the water. One did wedge herself onto the gunnels of the barges with in range of my morning star. She was soon dislodged!
My mithril armor was dinged about by the stones of the slingers, and I had to repair myself which depleted my infusions for the day. We gained the shore and captured the goblins that were enchanted into slumber by Belladonna and Lady d’Deneith. These goblins soon are rowing our way upriver.
Falcon’s Hallow, not an impressive place and in need of my skills. I soon find employment with Bulrin Fenn. I worked through the day and night placing stone foundations under the dock pilings making them secure. The forty gold Galifars will help in procuring components for my infusions.
I head for the Inn to see about more employment and learn that my employer is hiring to solve a plague that is tainting the water supply. It seems as if our battle of the barge created a stronger camaraderie than I thought. Both Ladies Panzadeya and d’Deneith wish to embark upon this quest. The hobgoblins are eager as well for the coin we will furnish for their services.

Falcon's Hollow, about 35 miles south of the Shadowcrags

Leave north to find ingredients for blackscour fungus remedy. Stop at the residence of now deceased lumber merchant Gelrion Tess. House being remodeled by new owner's impatient craftsmen. Arrive at lumber camp and gain information on locations of remedies in forest.

NPCs met:

Merak--stonemason overseer remodeling Gelrion Tess' old house

Vinson--lumberjack who tried to throw rock at Mirrim, but she put him to sleep and later embarassed him in front of his friends by using a mage hand to cause him to drop a rock he was about to throw at her. However, Mirrim turned him into a friend by helping him save face and buying him and his friends ale at the lumber camp meal house.

Jarlben Trookshavits--lumber camp foreman

Milon Roddam--lumber camp overseer, gave locations in woods of possible remedy ingredient locations and stated his nephew had blackscour.

We set off north towards the home of Lady d’Deneith’s late employer. His home has already been sold and is being remodeled. The foreman was not very hospitable, at least as far as I could tell my Lady d’Deneith’s reactions. Warmbloods are so strange.
We move North to the logging camp, where once again a strange exchange of warmblood behavior was observed. A male told us to leave, which Lady d’Deneith’s response was hostile, then he threatened with a rock, but she placed a sleep enchantment upon him. I will never understand this behavior. A rock is not much of a threat, but I have much to learn.
The camp boss was not very friendly, but he referred us to another higher up that was more so. He gave us a map, and directions. I purchase a darkwood wand for later use.
We stay for the night, where for the third meal of the day commonly known as Dinner, was being held in a large tent. There we meet the first male who was placed into slumber, and Lady d’Deneith’s used a minor evocation to fling his rock out of his hand this time. His friends appear to have found humor in this and the male’s face became a curious shade of red, as if angered. I was about to load my crossbow, when Lady d’Deneith spoke with him and at the promise of Ale he became friendlier.
Sypheros 19, 997 YK we set off into the forest. There we encounter a very curious creature, that had a rat in its head! It was like a two legged lizard small about knee high to me and it was obviously a zombie. A curious wood disk with writing in a language none of us was familiar hung around its neck. It was soon slain, and the rat attempted flight. My bolt ended that journey. I gave it to the warmbloods to consume. Lady d’Deneith’s and Lady Panzadeya obtained queer visages and declined. The hobgoblins had not a problem with this type of fare.
We camp. I felt the cold, but the others were obviously miserable, although Lady d’Deneith made much light of the situation. A strange clicking sound was coming from her? Hmm, must be a sorceress way of meditation.
Sypheros 20, 997
We head out, and are soon in the glade of the largest tree I have ever witnessed or heard of. As we approach, Belladonna races forward and fires her bow at the base of the tree! At first I thought that she had some anger at the plant, but I soon saw her target. A creature with a reptilian head with scaled arms and claws pulled its serpentine body from the roots. Panzadeya yelled at Belladonna not to attack as it might be friendly, and her response was not any more! Although Belladonna backed up the creature, which I will call a Drake (mix of Dragon and snake) charged Nilbog who was unable to deflect it’s claws. It is soon slain. Believing this to be some sort of magical offshoot of a deceased Dragon I harvest its skin, head and claws. I soak up as much blood as possible with a sheet of parchment for later analysis. These may be useful in the casting of infusions or making of items.
We head out and are soon ambushed by wolves. In their surprise attack, Lady d’Deneith falls, her throat savaged by one, Nilbog, Jarvis and Lady Panzadeya are engaged. I infuse my crossbow with the power of flame and launch fiery bolts at the beasts. The damage I inflicted was minimal, while Belladonna healed the Lady d’Deneith, and the others slay the beasts. I suggest that these would be more sustenance for them, to which the Hobgoblins were ahead of me, except Jarvis who had been wounded into inactivity. I have heard the term unconscious is the state. I must attend a university to learn more of these terms.
After the butchering is complete and the Hobgoblins have subsidized their rations, we proceeded right into the Witches clearing. The trees themselves appeared to cringe away from her hut. The area is quiet, much too quiet. As the sun sets, we sneak away and find a secluded area. This time a fire is made and the wolf steaks are spitted. The preparation of meals was interrupted by a voice from the dark, stating that the smell of the wolf meat was unappetizing. I agreed it did not smell nice. I then noticed the source of the voice. It was a creature lurking under the boughs of a pine. His head is that of a canine, and his body is that of a humanoid, fur covered. His leather armor is designed for woodland blending. His bow and two short swords look well used. He asked and was granted admittance to our camp. His name was Bartok and he is a Lupine, hunter of Lycanthropes. He provided a deer for the Ladies and himself. He also inspected the slain wolves and proclaimed them not “Were”.
When my watch came about Bartok took his leave of us. Interesting creature he was.
Sypheros 21, 977 YK
Jarvis is up, but weak. Belladonna expends all her healing upon him, and Nilbog still is hurting. We decide to inspect the witches hut, as Bartok assured us that she has been gone for awhile and it is empty. Empty except for an unknown guardian that keeps all away. Our inspection was only to be of the outside, but that was not to be. As I was searching for mechanical and magical traps on the only door, a cauldron on legs with snapping lid busted thought the door and attacked. Battle was engaged, I was damage, but I repaired it. We all smashed it and finally it was destroyed. We found the second ingredient for the cure along with useful alchemical ingredients. I will use these for further infusions. Also a shrunken head, or mummified Halfling head was discovered with unknown light illusion properties. I would be able to identify this if I had the right components for the infusion, but there are none available. We decide to wait here as all other creatures seem to shun this place, but what if the witch returns!

We search for a resting place as we are out of magical infusions and castings. After a cold night that at Lady d’Deneith’s suggestion a fire is employed. This time I did not hear the strange clicking noise coming from her tent.
We soon located the ruins of the Dwarven Monastary. It was infested with wolves, and undead on the first floor. We soon dispatched those and located that mushrooms. The last ingredient to make the cure. I am out of infusions as the Lady d’Deneith has exhausted herself as well. The Lady Paladin appears none worse for the encounter. I state that we need to rest and recover before making the jaunt to the town. Lady d’Deneith agrees, but the Lady Paladin is being very obstinate.

Party explored entry room of dungeon below dwarven monastery, defeating some kobolds. Jarvis, the hobgoblin mercenary was disemboweled and killed by a grick in an adjoining room. After a brief ceremony he was cremated in the crucible in the grick’s room. The party retreated out of the dungeon and spent the night barricaded in a room above. Some faint noises in the night turn out later to be a kobold war party bringing in some children as prisoners. Party does not investigate.

Sypheros 24, 997 &K
Cut across forest to river in the middle. An orphaned girl named Jeva approaches party and is taken in and fed. She relays information about orphanage fire and possible attack and how she got lost in the woods and couldn’t find a river crossing. Reveals her true colors that night and tries to rip throat out of Panzadeya the paladin while she was asleep. Party awakens and was about to drive off the werewolf when Panzadeya, still supine, crushed Jeva’s hip bone with a massive sword cut, killing her instantly. She reverted back to true form and the party saw torture marks on her.
NPCs met: Jeva the 14 year old human female werewolf, killed

Sypheros 25, 997 YK
Find ford and cross river. Arrive and investigate orphanage. Deduce some of what happened. Return to Falcon’s Hollow and deliver the remedy ingredients. Engaged by Master Kreed to find his son at a dinner at his house that night. Kreed arranges skyboat transportation to hurry the rescue efforts.
NPCs met: Vendrik Thassalbloom, ranger and hunter, hired to track children, joins party as a Blademark Mercenary apprentice. Has wife and two small children in Falcon’s Hollow.

Sypheros 26, 997 YK
Skyboat sets the party down at dawn about an hour’s walk from the monastery. This boat shaved two days off the rescue efforts.
NPCs met: Carridon d’ Lyrandar—skyboat captain who happened to be in Falcon’s Hollow and was hired by Kreed to run the party out to the monastery to hasten the rescue efforts.

Helix's thoughts.

Sypheros 22, 977 YK
As the hour is late, we plan to rest and recover our inner energies. I and Lady d’Deneith convince the Lady Paladin Panzadeya into staying the night and using the remaining few hours to explore. This was a mistake and a fatal one at that! Nilbog is still weak from his previous battle, I am out of infusions, and Lady d’Deneith is almost out of her spells. Nilbog is placed to the rear, and I take the lead. I can detect traps and snares with great alacrity, so I ventured forth. Soon the light failed, and with the use of a captured wand, I enchanted my shield as a light source. Of course this and our tramping alerted the occupants of the lower level. A group of Kobolds have set up in a room that has three exits. One directly ahead, and one to each side. These nuisances are soon dispatched, except for two; one that fled into the bowels of the complex, and a prisoner. Jarvis had grappled, and pinned the kobold. He was soon tied up, but as no one could speak its language, we just left him in a corner.
I looked into the side passages of the room and am attacked by a tentacled monster that deactivates Jarvis and attempted to drag him away for a meal. My morning star has no effect on the creature. I load my crossbow with the unknown magical bolts and fire! And Fire it was. They are fire bolts that help end the creature’s life. Mainly Lady d’Deneith’s spells complete the task for us. By the time the creature is slain, Jarvis is irreparable.
After consulting with the remaining Hobgoblins, Jarvis is cremated in the lava pit of the forge room. We then go back up, lock ourselves in a room and wait out the night. The next day we set off for the town.
As we set up camp a bedraggled dirty little human child approaches our camp. Lady d’Deneith is leery of disease and parasites. As I am immune to disease, I stop her and inspect her. I was suspicious of her (being alone so far from human habitats), but she soon puts those to rest. We invite her into camp, feed her and then set up our watches.
During third watch, my watch, the peace of the night is interrupted with the sound of rending flesh. Lady Panzadeya is being eaten by the little girl. She has transformed herself into a wolf like creature and attacked the Paladin as she rested. A devious and horrid creature she apparently was, and through my crossbow, spells and other weaponry we drive her away from the bleeding and torn Lady Panzadeya, who is able to disembowel the child in her attempt to flee. The Lady Panzadeya seems very upset over the whole ordeal, even though Belladona healed her wounds.

The party decided to explore the downstairs for a couple of hours of exploring before resting and returning to town with the ingredients. At the end of the stairs, we enter a room with six kobolds. After defeating the kobolds, Helix and Jarvis run into a Grick. Jarvis is grabbed and munched to death. We go back up stairs and rest. We leave to go to the village with the ingredients for the cure for the Black Scour. While setting up camp that night, a girl about 14 years old approaches the camp. Panzadeya gives her food and water. During the night, Jeva, the girl, attacks Panzadeya. She has turned into a werewolf and has Panzadeya by the throat. Panzadeya is enraged, as this is an enemy of the Church of the Silver Flame has supposedly exterminated, and slays the bi*&%. We go to the orphanage the girl said she was from to found that it has been burned to the ground. A trapdoor was found, where it appears the children were tortured and may have been experiments of werewolves as there were torture equipment and two sacks of moldy wolvesbane. Vendrik approaches the scout, Noblig. He joins us to go back to Falcons Hallow and back to the herbalist to deliver the ingredients for the cure. Vendrick talks about children that would visit the orphanage and that they are missing. Vendrik tells us that Bartok is thought to be a gnoll.
After a bath at the Inn, we go to Kreed’s manor for the reward for the cure and dinner. Kreed’s son is one of the missing children that would visit the orphanage. He will give us a magical weapon to each player as reward for the return of his son. Panzadeya sends a letter to Greenhart about the situation of the Black Scour (the source still needs investigation), the missing cleric of the Church of the Silver Flame, Pendant, and the werewolves inhabiting the Elder Reaches forest. Kreed secures an airship and flies the party to the area of the Dwarven monastery (so we do not alert the occupants of our arrival).

Ambushed by bugbears inside the upper ruins, one of them escapes. Continue exploration of the dungeon, defeat vargouiles, dire rats, shockerlizards. Rest and continue exploration in afternoon and defeat an allip in an octagonal room with strange holes in wall.
NPCs met: Gardiss, reporter for the Korranberg Chronicle. Mirrim tried to put him to sleep after he introduced himself after watching the bugbear battle in the upper ruins. He tried to use his bard powers to get the party to listen to him so he could get rights to their exclusive story of the rescue of the children. He explained that he was in Falcon’s Hollow when they returned with the blackscour fungus and he wants to do a feature story on them, but Mirrim referred him to her family barrister. Gardiss said that he called the party “Falcon’s Falchions” in his first chronicle story about how they rescued the sick townsfolk from certain death by finding the cure ingredients. Party sent him packing, for now, refusing his offer of 350gp for the rights to their story and exclusive interviews.

On approaching the Dwarven Monastery, the party is attacked by 6 bugbears. After defeating the bugbears, Gardus, a reporter for the Cornbird Chronicles, approaches and is taking notes on our adventure. After Mirrim puts him to sleep, we proceed down the stairs and encounter 5 dire rats that were easily dispensed. In the next room, there is a green covered pillar obelisk that shoots electricity. Three vargoulles come through two of the doors in this circular room. Panzadeya kills the three vargoulles. Gardus appears in the dungeon wanting an exclusive for 350gp. Panzadeya offers him the best view, in front. Next the party enters a steaming room with 2 shocker lizards which are disposed of quickly. In the next room, Helix is speared and almost crushed by a dwarven trap because the room tilted him into the spears and the opposite wall came down to crush him. Party decides to rest in the upstairs room in order to heal and bandage wounds. After resting, we search the next room and Helix finds a glove. He puts it on his left hand and it turns obsidian. Also a secret door is found that leads to a hexagonal room with holes in the walls. A map of this level is found etched on a pedestal in this room. As Panzadeya enters the room an Allip appears. After the battle in the quiet, voices are heard. Yapping of kobolds and a child cries “Run Mecra run”, and more kobold cursing. The children are alive and must be found.

Sypheros 26, 997 YK continued
Following newly acquired maps and sounds heard through strange wall tubes in the listening room, the party easily defeats several groups of kobolds, freeing a Talenta plains Halfling bard named Edgrin and recovering two of the children, including one from a room full of head throwing skeletons that the adventurers chose to ignore. The remaining kobolds fled in a panic down the well to the lower level, where, according to Edgrin, the Kobold tribal leader and possibly some more imprisoned children were kept. Panzadeya and Nilbog were nearly killed by a smoke breathing chain rattling dwarven undead in a forge cavern, where the party freed Jurin Kreed. Panzadeya was particularly badly hurt so the party retreated again to the listening chamber to rest, three of the five children and a fierce Talenta Halfling warrior-bard in tow. By the party’s best estimates it now early evening on Sypheros 26, 997 YK.
NPCs met: Edgrin Galesong, talenta halfing bard whose adventuring party was captured by the kobold king and who is now apparently seeking to help the children escape. Jurin, Kimi and Savram---children victims of the kobolds whom the party has now rescued and are keeping close.

In the area with the map,we can hear voices coming from different rooms and locate those rooms on the map. There is a kobold talking like he is talking to an audience. We can hear other kobolds talking and in another room we hear a child crying. We go to rescue the children and run into a gelatinous cube which grapples Nilbog and Helix. Nilbog is hurt pretty bad. It paralyzes Vendrik, but Beladonna delivers the final blow with a single arrow. In the next room we come across 11 kobolds, a child, and a halfling adventurer. Edgrin Galsong is a halfling that came with another group to rescue these children but he seems to be the only adventurer left. He relates to us that Jeren was dragged off to the caverns by an undead dwarf creature. In the next room, we save a young boy who was hiding behind an anvil. There were 10 skeleton dwarves that come to life as the boy runs across the room and throw body parts at the child. We shut the door after him, hoping to reset the trap. In the room where we heard the chanting were 7 kobolds. Panzadeya was commanded to “FLEE” by the magic user. Luckily the party was able to dispatch the kobolds without her sword. In a room there are two kobolds lowering a platform which we easily dispatch one and the other decides to jump. Our next encounter is with a Dwarven Soul Forged which takes out Panzadeya with one swipe of a chain. The party is able to prevail and save Jeren who was on a stone slab. With the party out of spells and in need of healing, we go back to rest.

Spending the evening resting and recovering spells in the listening chamber, the party heard the kobolds searching the dungeon for them, but the fear of the allip apparently kept the kobolds out of the listening chamber and the party was able to recover a little bit from their injuries. They sent Edgrin and the children they had saved so far to the surface. While the children were fierce and wanted to fight, Edgrin convinced them that if the party failed to save their friends down below, trapped with the kobold king, the kids might still get help for them from the townsfolk. Avoiding the obvious ambush in the well-winch-platform room, the party squeezed through the crevice into a large cave down below, defeating a dire bat and a gargoyle. Pressing on, the party was confronted by a large group of kobolds and slimy toad creatures, which they also defeated after a tough fight that injured many party members and dropped Nilbog unconscious.
NPCs met: none.

Helix,

During the exploration into the depths of the goblin lair I discover a curious gauntlet. In an attempt to decipher it's magical nature I place it upon my left hand. It instantly grafts itself to my appendage and I feel strenght flow into my being. It is hard and not very dexterous, but I believe it will help in our endeavor to rescue the small warm bloods!

It appears that my new hand will not grasp items very well, to include my shield. This item will have to be removed at the first opportunity.

We are able to locate a barbaric halfling, and two children to learn that our prize has been abducted by some sort of undead creature. We follow the path, and locate this creature of chain and flame. We soon destroy it and rescue the male that we sought. Although there apparently are more of these small creatures captive below.

We rest and proceed below to fight a large bat, and some fanged amphibians with more kobolds. They all are slain, except for one that flees deeper into its cavern lair.

Back in the room with the map and the listening tubes, we spend 8 hours resting and healing. Kobolds are heard in several rooms but otherwise an uneventful night. Going down a crevice to the next level, we encounter a dire bat and then a gargoyle in the cave. A couple of the party members get hurt pretty bad. We find a wand of CLW’s in the cave and use it to bring our party back up to snuff. Proceeding down the cavern leads us into a large section with 14 kobolds and 2 slurks waiting for us. Nilbog is hit critically, but using up the rest of the charges on the wand we are able to stabilize him. We slay all these creatures but one which flees. We are proceeding to follow…

After a series of running fights with kobolds and slurks and having their rest interrupted several times, the party finally confronted the kobold king and his remaining troops. The kobolds pinned the party in a narrow approach cavern and threw javelins and attacked with spears with good effect while the kobold king threw spells at the party. It was a very tough fight and with only Belladonna and Mirrim remaining conscious, the kobold king was defeated. His sorcerer, who was keeping the remaining children hostage in a side cavern, came out and almost killed the remaining party members, but Mirrim, much to her disgust, was forced to slay the kobold spellcaster with a spear thrust. The remaining children were rescued, but the party was in bad shape, very badly hurt and only two members standing.

The sheriff arrives with others to rescue the party. We go back to the town. Kreed invites to his house to celebrate. The Kreed manor servants do all for us. We are rewarded with gold and a choice of a magical weapon for the return of his son. At the dinner, Kitinay, Kimmy’s mom, offers to sew for the party. Kolbren Jabs, father of one of the boys, rewards the party with a small bag of gold and all the meat we can eat. The hobgoblins are very pleased to hear this. Shavero Vade is a father of one of the children but is missing from the celebration. That night the hobgoblins go north of the manor to celebrate and hear strange squealing noises. We go the next night to investigate. We find a building next to the cemetery. We see one of the rescued boys and his father Shavero Vade. He comes out, throws a sack of gold at us for rescuing his son and slams the door. Pansadeya gets a bad feeling about the man. At lunch the next day at the Kreed manor, we meet with the reporter from the Chronicle and tell our story. From conversations with the different town people, I get the sense that Kreed is a ruthless boss and controls the town by less than fair and friendly means. Eliminating the competition, anyway possible, is mentioned. We go back to the cemetery that night and are attacked by a specter which drains the life from Panzadeya. Only calling upon the Church of the Silver Flame is able to save herself, but is still unconscious. Belladonna saves the day by defeating the specter with a Cure Light Wounds spell. The party takes Panzadeya back to the Kreed manor. Kreed questions what we were doing and suggests we leave it alone, that he will handle it.

Korranberg Chronicle, Sypheros 28 997YK
by: Gardiss Preyanor—Blackscour plague thwarted Northern Eldeen Reaches-- In an area much in need of heroes, the town of Falcon’s Hollow, nestled against the dark and threatening Shadowcrags, got some much needed help to thwart a plague that killed many of its citizens and children. An unlikely alliance of a Silver Flame championess Panzadeya and a spell wielding lady of House Deneith led their warforged assistant and three Blademark mercenaries into the dark wilds of Darkmoon Vale to recover the ingredients needed for a local herbalist to produce a cure. Undoubtedly the rumors of a possible lyncanthrope haunting the woods brought the Silver Flame to this area, as a Silver Flame priestess had also gone missing in the woods. This reporter shall follow the exploits of this new band of heroes closely, although they are not enthused about sharing their tales yet.

Korranberg Chronicle, Aryth 3 997 YK
Falcon’s Falchions Thwart Kobold Sacrificial Plot by: Gardiss Preyanor. Town of Falcon’s Hollow, Northern Eldeen Reaches The same heroes who recently helped the town settle a deadly plague now thwarted a major sacrificial plot by the Kobold King of the Shadowcrags, slaying him in deadly battle and placing his disturbing crown on the brow of Lady Mirrim d’Deneith. The Falcon’s Falchions tracked lost local children into Darkmoon Vale and found them imprisoned by a deadly tribe of toad riding kobolds who sought to enhance their evil powers by ripping the hearts out of the children’s beating breasts. A shining example of what is possible when dragonmarked houses and churches work together, the beautiful ladies of the Falcon’s Falchions led their troop of blademark hobgoblins and a locally hired guide into the woods, even allowing a warforged to accompany them. Some stains of the Last War are certainly hard to erase and it is common knowledge that warforged make good porters. They emerged from the dark dungeons and forests near the Shadowcrags with the children and other prisoners rescued whole. The local lumber consortium lord feted the Falchions in grand style and the heroines shared their story with this reporter, even allowing the warforged to speak. This warforged has a disturbing intelligence about him that may bear further scrutiny by the authorities, lest he gather a renegade band of the automatons to restart the Last War. The ladies shocked the dining hall by treating the creature almost as an equal. For now, much glory has been heaped upon this new adventuring troupe, especially in this much neglected land where lumber cutting is a way of life.

Where am I? What happened? Finding out that death was one step away makes even hobgoblins smell a little sweeter that day. After waking in Kreed’s manor, I find out that my companions brought my unconscious body back to town, purchased a restoration spell, and brought me back to the ready for action. We go back during the day to investigate. Vendrik and Nilbog go down a path and meet a hyena. We talk to the son and find out the father has the Church of the Silver Flame cleric tied up in the basement. We send the son into the forest to find herbs. Panzadeya turns 8 undead at the hut. Nilbog breaks down the door and is confronted by a skeleton warrior that Mirriam kills with orbs of acid. Once defeated we go below and find the father with six skeletons. Panzadeya turns the skeletons. Vendrik shoots an arrow and kills him. Panzadeya heals the cleric, Pendant Argouson, while Mirriam heals the father, Sharvarous Vade. We take him to the sheriff.

After a long and uneventful journey around Lake Galifar, the merchant train arrives in Passage.

Still having questions, Panzadeya went to Sharvarous Vade who is in the sheriff’s custody. While talking to the father, she notices a tattoo of a red teardrop enclosed by a fiendish looking skull, later identified as being a tattoo for the cult members of the Blood of Vole, an ancient religion that worships Death. The group travels to Sharn going down river. An ambush by goblins takes place while several loggers are trying to release a log jam. We arrive in Greenhart where an ancient oak tree and many druids exist. Besserim, a druid shifter, approaches Panzadeya and asks about the killing of the werewolf. Besserim, who is also captain of the watch, proposes a need for scouts in the northern region. Matthias, a merchant, from the House of Orian, hires the group for free passage for defense of his caravan to Passage. Two wyverns attack the caravan. Vendrik gets grappled and is flown away. Mirriam sleeps the baby Wyvern and if alls and dies. A lucky arrow fells the mother wyvern with Vendrik. Luck was with Vendrik because the body of the wyvern absorbed the impact of the fall and Vendrik was still alive. He recouped on the remaining portion of the journey.

Panzadeya picks up that a Professor Rarden Ordrik from Morgrave University has been looking for guards to travel to Sharn where the Morgrave University is located. Morgrave University is known for utilizing adventure parties to search for artifacts from other continents. Professor Ordrik has an artifact that he needs to return to Morgrave University. On the lightning rail, we made many stops along the way. Passengers came on and off. The magic head that we obtained while finding the cure for the black scour, screams when a mist comes under the door of the compartment of Professor Ordrik where Helix is standing guard. We, Mirriam and Panzadeya, are in the compartment next door. Upon hearing the head scream, Mirriam opens the door and a Tiefling stabs her. Panzadeya overcharges the Tiefling just to find three more in the hall. The mist is destroyed and three of the tieflings are easily dispensed, but one Tiefling is a tough opponent. This one knocks out the professor and takes his pouch containing the artifact and flees the train. Before leaving the train, Panzadeya sees the face of a tiger which is later identifies the thought of Tiefling to be a Rakshasa. The Lords of Dust are an old demonic army. By midnight, the party followed up a contact of Helix—Viduk, a warforged city watch sergeant in the quiet Northedge district of Oakbridge. Viduk had a murder mystery on his hands, which the Falcon’s Falchions wasted no time trying to solve.
NPCs met:
Sergeant Viduk—warforged Sharn City Watch in Oakbridge
Loffer Magnulin—elderly and bit scatterbrained priest of the Silver Flame
Graff Pendrong and his family—Bluebird Innkeepers
Drummer—warforged janitor at Bluebird Inn, on whom the initial suspicions fell.

Helix gets a message from Veduk, another warforged, about another murder in Oakbridge. We enter the Church of the Silver Flame to talk. Veduk offers us 1250gp if we find the murderer. A human cleric, Lawfer McNullen, approaches. Lawfer shows us the 2nd murder victim, Svlans Earkleminsore, an artist. He died from a fall. Lawfer also tells us The Borermor family runs the thieves guild. On the victim, we find a small strip of skin missing from his chest also a knife wound at the base of his neck. The 1st victim, Zakur, a wine merchant, was poisoned and found in the basement of the Bluebird Inn. Both victims were members of a traveling circus. Drummer, the Bluebird Inn janitor, found both bodies, was also in the traveling circus of Peace. Graf Pendrum owns the Inn. His wife is Serfiba and his daughter is Minna. We went to Svlan’s apartment and found baking flour by the wall near the balcony and a spray of blood on the balcony. Volen Krubert, animal trainer, was the head of the circus. Some additional members of the circus are Borgo, the dwarf, chef at Bluebird Inn; Rocktar, strongman, now trains warriors; Corlina, dancer, wife to Roctar; Kroga is the baker. The circus broke up after dinosaurs killed some 10 or 12 people in Bellrum in Breland. In the morning, we see a little gnome that mentions “Borgo is dead”. His throat was cut, flour around the window sill. He also had a missing patch of skin where the circus members had a tattoo. Panzadeya tries to question the baker, but is unsuccessful. Mirriam and Helix hire a cleric to talk to the victim and ask Svarn about his death. He was killed from behind, but had the word, “Revenge” whispered in his ear. We need to solve these murders fast, get the money and find out what we can about the tigerman.

Solve the murder mystery and capture a changeling waitress after a skycoach chase to the lightning rail station. Spend a week in commerce in Sharn. Rewards obtained from Sharn Watch. Drummer is killed by murderer shortly before the PCs find out who the suspect is.
NPCs met:
Adrina—maid and waitress at Bluebird Inn, revealed as murderer changeling named Ziki, captured and turned over to Sgt. Viduk.
Corlina Herfast—dancer at Bluebird Inn who was cheating on her husband and whose tryst was revealed under pressure from an intimidating Mirrim.
Lucian Cruzgar—alcoholic former soldier whose appearance Adrina/Ziki used to deflect suspicions on herself.
Roctar Herfast—retired wrestler and trainer of warriors who was consoled after his break up with Corlina by Helix who was trying to gain insight on the fascinating aspect of emotions.
Volin Krober—animal trainer and leader of former circus. Corlina left Roctar for this guy.

At the Bluebird Inn, we question the circus members. Panzadeya tries to sense evil on each of the members and feels nothing. Volen Krubert feels guilty about the deaths of the innocent people. Lucian Krusgarth, an artist and a drunk, fought in the last war and joined the circus at the end. He relays to the adventurers that at the battle of the three roads, dinosaurs were used for great destruction. Volen, the animal trainer, and Corlina, the dancer, are hiding something. Rocktar, Corlina’s husband, is glaring at everybody at the Inn. A fight breaks out between Rocktar and Volen because Volen is having an affair with Corlina. Volen thinks that because of his affair with Corlina, he may have been distracted and not noticed that the dinosaurs were sick with a brain disease. The party tries to speak with the dwarf, Borgo, using the sovereign host cleric. On the way back to the Bluebird Inn, Helix goes and talks to Veduk. On his way back to the Inn, Helix sees the drunk and approaches. The drunk runs and the fight begins. The assassin is able to escape by jumping off a bridge. Helix concludes that the assassin was a shifter since the drunk is back as the Inn and has been all night. Nilbog, Vendrik, and Belladonna are at Rocktar’s place on stake out, since he would not stay at the Inn. At the Inn, Helix keeps watch while Mirriam and Panzadeya are sleeping. The drunk comes downstairs and notices blood behind the bar. In the basement, Drummer, the warforged is found hacked to pieces. Following the blood spots, the adventurers go to the employee’s room of Adrianna, the barmaid, with the window open for escape. By scrying blood from Helix’s mace, the assassin is located at the lightning rail station. The party takes a skycab. The assassin is defeated and taken into custody. She explains that she was the mother of one of the children that died. She did not feel it was right that the circus people could cause the deaths of 10 people without any consequences.

Arabel Medani—Medani house investigator who met Panzadeya and gave her details of the Pilfered Wand’s hideout, telling her that it was in Corton Tower in Tumbledown, if Panzadeya would give her any documents and a detailed description of the hideout and its contents.
Tasra d’Deneith—Sentinel Marshal who gives Mirrim d’ Deneith information on the Pilfered Wand in return for a promise to bring back prisoners for interrogation, as Tasra was interested in why the Boromars had not attacked the Pilfered Wand or the gnoll dreamlily den in Tumbledown.

After a week in Sharn, while selling items and Helix crafting Panzadeya’s armor, Mirriam and Panzadeya try to get information about the artifact that Professor Ordrik commissioned us to recover. He said he would pay us 4000gp. Mirriam meets with Tazra of House D’Neith. She finds out that the Pilfered Wand is a thieves guild but not associated with the local guild. The Boromor Family controls the crime in Sharn and leaves the Pilfered Wand alone. The Pilfered Wand is in the Tumble Down District. A tribe of gnolls have a dream lily den and the entrance to the hideout of the Pilfered Wand is inside.

Panzadeya goes to the university and asks about the Rakshasa. She talks to the professor and finds out the name of the artifact is the Cindrix Column. Don’t know exactly what it does but he thinks it is a focus for electrical power, lightning. The University will now pay us 5000 gp for its recovery. Panzadeya is told Rakshasa is a member of the Pilfered Wand and their hideout is in the Tumble Down District, in a dreamlily den run by gnolls. It is suggested that more information might come from the House of Medani, the Inquisitors. Panzadeya goes there and finds out that the entrance is located in the Corton Tower in exchange for any documents recovered.

As we get into the Tumble Down District, we are spotted by two gnolls. We advance to talk and they attack. They run into a room with 8 more gnolls. Several are disposed of quite easily and the rest surrender. The gnolls are tied up and questioning will commence.

We have wine and he gives us the Cendrix Column. He invites Mirriam to the Tane Gala. He is quite charming to her and very nicely dressed. She accepts. At the University, we wake up the professor and exchange the Cendrix Column for the 5000 gp. Panzadeya goes to the Inquisitors of Medani and talks with Aribal. The House of Medani is providing guards, but would like our party for extra security. She will pay for passage in return for a safe voyage.

At the Bluebird Inn, near the end of the evening, a woman in robes comes in with two guards looking for Sgt. Vaduk. Helix and the group go looking for Sgt. Vaduk after the female leaves. We find papers “Be at the meeting point – the 15th – don’t be late – and an address with a paw print. The print is probably a direwolf print. We go to House of Jorscal to get healed and back to flesh, so to speak. Vaduk and a goblin, Burno, show up at the Bluebird Inn and tell us that Graas is the source of the paw print. Velgram Linnatorm: Ship’s bosun, friendly to all so far.
Manten Dramgrin: Ship’s head artificer, met Helix and was cold to him, but forced himself to be friendlier when he found out Helix was a passenger on the maiden voyage to commence on Vult 19.
Torren Blackfingers: Ship’s artificer, Helix seems to have befriended him.
Ambassador Sege Avadarrn: Karnathi ambassador feuding with Cardinal Bethenade about his Karnnathi skeleton warrior guard Skarad, whom Helix spoke with about what type of construct he was.
Cardinal Menasos Bethanade: Silver Flame worshipping Ambassador to Breland from Thrane, spoke on friendly terms with Panzadeya about the good work she has been doing and how glad he was to have along on the voyage, particularly with fiends like Avadarrn and his despicable bodyguard around.
Sir Banarak Tithon—Knight Marshal of the Citadel, spoke briefly but positively with Panzadeya

We approach the Golden Dragon airship, supported by a fire elemental and water elemental, in a skiff to go to a party. We, Mirriam and Panzadeya, need to talk to Captain Alistair d’Lyrandar about adding our companions to the manifest for the airship. While meeting with the captain on the bridge, we are introduced to the Lord Mayor, the botson, Velgram Linnatorm (a half orc), a man in full plate with a citadel symbol engraved, Banarak Tithon the Knight Marshall of the Citadel of Sharn (of the King’s Citadel). The captain grants all of our party passage. Helix walks about the ship and asking questions. He is an inquisitive fellow. Panzadeya talks with the first mate Lt Mazzia d’Lyrandar about a tour of the ship. She also overhears a conversation between Ambassador Sege Avadarn with his pet Karnnathi skeleton Skarad and Cardinal Bethenade of the Silver Flame. Cardinal Bethenade is upset that the Ambassador brought his abomination on board the ship. Mirriam is enjoying the party thoroughly and surrounds herself with all the good-looking, powerful men she can find on the ship. I just hope we don’t have any jealous wives.

Around midnight, during the party, hobgoblins (one with a particularly big mouth) and minotaurs come on board and tell the guests to get above decks because there is a bomb. They want 200,000 gp for ransom or they will blow up the ship. Mirriam asks the captain where the most likely place to put a bomb is. He suggests by the water elemental. Mirriam and Nilbog go down a porthole while Helix and Panzadeya distract the guards. Unfortunately, the distraction starts the fighting which may lead to the setting off of the bomb. Two harpies swoop in and mesmerize the guests, plus most of the guards. Mirriam finds a creature setting the bomb but it drinks a potion and turns gaseous. She also finds the bomb. Helix throws the bomb overboard, but it destroys the fire elemental. The ship starts to fall slowly but the clerics are able to summon another elemental and recover before disaster befalls the Golden Dragon. A skiff leaves the Golden Dragon, we assume with the bomb maker. The captain suggests pursuing the skiff. I, Panzadeya, hopes none of this blows our cover. By the body is a discarded goblet of wine – probably poisoned – (dark wafer poison). Also detected is faint necromancy in a ruby necklace worn by the dead Gunter Hedgerin. While investigating the murder, a fight occurs in the bar. Halas Martain is upset because some missives were stolen from him. Nilbog sees Kalibar Jenks put papers in a goblin’s pocket. The goblin happens to be a body guard to Sea Baron Padrith Malinko, a known pirate. Martain, an Orien courier, pay the party 500gp for the returning the papers. Later Kalibar Jenks tells the party he is a member of the Dark Lanterns, the secret police for Breland (works for the Citadel). He offers a reward for not spilling his secret.

Mediate a series of confrontations between the Karrnathis and Thrane passengers. Helix captured a doppelganger setting up an explosive trap in the laboratory. Confronted by Sea Baron Malinko and his rogue minions, the party defeats them in battle and captures the doppelganger and the Sea Baron. Unable to prevent Gunter (a secret wizard of some sort) from killing the Cardinal with poison, the party does figure out that Gunter used “magic jar” to make it appear like Gunter was killed so he could possess the Cardinal’s body. The party used good diplomacy to avoid a major Karrnathi-Thrane flareup. Interrogating the doppelganger prisoner reveals that he is a member of the “Tyrants” guild in Sharn. He offered to put the party in contact with the Tyrants in return for lenient testimony.

The party enters the giant ruins with Halas Martain, where they are ambushed by Gunter Hegerin and his skeletal minions. Hegerin used a Evard's Black Tentacles spell to crush and slay the party, thus ending the days of the “Falcon's Falchions,” another adventuring party that fell victim to the dangers of Xendrik.

Mirrim and Panzadeya awaken in a strange forest, surrounded by kobold zombies nearby. Helix just cast "greater resurrection" on them, courtesy of Alastair d'Lyrandar. Turns out the group had been assimiliated into Halas Martain's undead army. When the group did not return to the Golden Dragon with the skiff, Alastair investgated and determined their fate. Within weeks he hired old friends of the party, Barrtok the lupin werewolf hunter, Sgt. Viduk of the Sharn City Watch and Pendant Argossen, Silver Flame cleric of Falcon's Hollow, to rescue the "Falcon's Falchions" from their horrible fate. Unfortunately, by the time the trio of Barrtok, Viduk and Pendant arrived on Xen'drik, Mirrim and Panzadeya's zombies had been kidnapped by the now zombified former nemesis, the Kobold King of Falcon's Hollow, who tracked down his old beloved crown woven into Mirrim's rotting skull. The trio was able to recover the parts formerly known as Helix and had him reassembled in Stormreach. From there, he met with Alastair and obtained the tools (scrolls) he needed to bring his old friends back from the dead.

That, now accomplished, meant that Mirrim wanted her crown back. It was nearby. The logging camp nearby was crawlign with zombies and the now reunited Falcon's Falchions hacked through a platoon of kobold zombies, looking for clues to the Kobold King's location. They found them......

Arrive in Falcon's Hollow. The party is celebrated by the town and hired by Lord Kreed to get rid of the undead zombie king once and for all. Party sells some stuff to obtain much needed cash and Mirrim sends message to her house about her being alive again, but without papers. Helix crafts a holy symbol for Panzadeya and Kimi Eavewalker presented Mirrim with a beautiful dress during the large town wide party.

Hire Boudreaux, the warforged scout/waiter from the Sitting Duck Tavern, to lead them to Cold Marrow, the zombie stronghold. Halfway through the day, the party meets Morgsa, the hill giant woman looking for her husband, Lavok. They don't fight and leave on positive terms. Later that night, the party fights three tough chariot beetles and Panzadeya callsout to Morgsa for help. She shows up at the end of the battle and makes a deal with theparty to take her to Sharn to look for her husband, who apparenty wandered away to join a mercenary company (and get drunk according to Morgsa). Morgsa is a very intelligent hill giant and says she has some natural powers.

Adventures of Panzadeya

Companions: Helix

Mirriam

Morgsa leads us to the bottom of Cold Marrow Mound. There is a coumn with broken down stairs. There is a graveyard of bones and no noise. We approach the columns. The stairs are covered with runes of unknown origins. Two shadowy figures surprise us. I turned the shadowy figures. My faith must be growing. Going up to the column, a magical trap, possibly a curse is detected by Helix and successfully disarm. Down a corridor we see a black cloud that turned into a bat like thing. We destroyed the Belkir. Helix looks in a room with the ceiling tumbled in and a sarcophagus within and a lady chiseled on it. I look in another room with five coffins. A wraith comes at Helix and from the other room are five wights. I turn four of the five wights with the goodness’ of the Silver Flame. We find a longsword that is great against the undead. It is an undead bane sword (+1 / +3 undead 1d8 +3 +strength and +2d6 against undead).

In the next room, we find the Zombie Kobold King and his army of 13 zombies. Murlow Krap throws a javelin that bursts and sends electrical damage at us. But Mirriam was a bit ticked about losing her crown and threw a fireball and took out most of his army. He was pretty easily defeated. We go to Kreed Manor and collect our 5000 gp reward for wiping out the Zombie King.

Gardiss, the Korranberg Chronicles reporter, pays the Falchion's 850 gp for exclusive rights to the story of the kobold zombie king. He also offers to take Morgsa and the Falchions to Sharn on his skyboat, revealing that Morgsa's husband is being kept drunk at Morgrave University.

Lharvion 24, 998YK
While Helix remained in Falcon's Hollow to do some crafting work commissioned by the Lumber Consortium, Panzadeya and Mirrim took Morgsa to Sharn, where they find that a blowhard professor at Morgrave Univeristy has been charging admission at a theater to lecture on Xendrik and display Avarrath, Morgsa's husband, as a "Xen'drik" giant. Tardren, the professor the Falchions helped previously , discredits Celentor, to much scandal and delight of the crowd and Korranberg reporters present. He offers the giants teaching assistant postions at the University to restore the university's honor.

Go to Fallen district in Sharn to investigate the disappearance of Faela, the priestess of the Silver Flame that tends to the slum denizens at the Blackstone Church (Sharn p. 63). Meet Berrick the beggar who says the Ravers have overrrun the church and he leads them to an entrance to the tower. A beggar woman asks them to help Faela and the party enters the tower, meeting up with some Raver guards.

After defeating the Ravers and freeing the cleric, the party retreats back out of the Fallen district, deciding that they need to get to Argat and finish their mission and end their debt to Alastair d'Lyrandar.

Barrakas 2, 998 YK
A Lyrandar skyship drops the Falcon's Falchions off a few miles from Argat, out of sight of the superstitious locals. The party approaches the town and make contact with Bertram Hugelrote, the ambassador of the Eldeen Reaches, who was on an apparent punishment detail at the embassy just south of the City. He recommends Ahmed's Assans boarding house in town and warns the party of the superstitious locals. At dinner, he pumps information about civilization from the party. The guards point out a "Child of Sehan" skulking around the manor house at night.

Barrakas 3, 998 YK
Whie sleeping at Hugelrote's manor house, the party encounters a guard in the hallway outside their bedroom, a transformed Child of Sehan.
