It wasn't a try, just to make sure not one of them is against accompanying me and making sure we're probably facing undead in there.
"I'guess I'll take Marlowe with me and Edric again, never change a winning team right?"
MiniGM
Marlowe is quickly found with Sosiel getting as much holy water as he can.
Well gents, lets do it. He downs his mutagen right away, and just before the armies collide he chugs down a few more potions. He moves almost naturally quick, has skin made of bark and a shield glowing in front of him.
The battle rages all around and the heroes find themselves at the entrance to the mausoleum.
Well? Did you want to knock? Marlowe asks
Marhok
"If my kind of knock is needed yes, let's see first if the door's already open for us."
If the entrance to the crypt is open we'll head inside, if the entrance to the crypt is closed, Marhok's going to try to push it open, if that doesn't work bash it in.
Before trying to push it open Marhok and Edric take a look for any traps on it.

Marhok shakes off the effect with ease and looks at the undead scourge with thinly veiled contempt.
Marhok asks quickly to Edric and Marlowe. "What kind of creature is this?"
Edric tries to discern what kind of creature it is.
Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Marhok
Good to know.
"That's a Berbalang, a nasty undead monstrosity if I've ever seen one Marhok. Here you'll need my help to do more damage to it."
Marhok frees up one hand from his greatsword to dig up a potion from his bandolier and down it the next moment, then he takes up his greatsword again and holds it for Edric to enchant it.
Edric touches the large blade and calls for Abadar to grant it the strength and imbue it with the force of good.
Cast Align Weapon, changing it to good, Marhok is enlarged and flies into a rage, AC 18 now, Will +8 and he has reach.

Marhok
Needed to look up the Dispel rules, haven't used them much myself. Actually I think a regular Protection from Evil Spell would work just as well, regarding as it gives Marhok another save vs Enchantment effects right?
Edric notices what happened to Marhok and rushes towards him to try and tries to dispel the magical effects affecting him.
"Hold on Marhok!"
Edric aims to cast a Protection from Evil spell on Marhok, if that's out he'll try the Lesser Restoration instead.

Marhok misses Edric and snaps out of the confusion. He looks very apolegetically at Edric, then turns around and faces the undead scourge.
"Enough of your games, face me as an equal!"
He says as he takes a few steps closer, but unable to reach the berbalang at the top.

"Enough of this idle chat. I'll not be toyed with."
Marhok stands his ground and readies his greatsword when the thing comes within reach.
Edric however knows this is an undead and steps up behind Marhok, channeling energy at the creature to hurt it where it stings.

Edric begins channeling energy again to damage the undead.

Marhok
Marhok looks behind him and nods approvingly and smiles.
"Seems I wasn't even needed in here. Nicely done you two. You two are the heroes of this encounter."
Marhok's eyes look calm once again and he walks over to the creature. He looks at it with a disdainful look, then drives his greatsword through it just to make sure it doesn't stand up.
"Let's see if we can find anything of value in here and then rejoin the army. They'll be glad to hear of our success."
Marhok
Marhok and Edric search the place for anything interesting, anything valuable or worth destroying or saving from destruction.
Perception Marhok: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Edric's Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Edric looks at Marlowe, scratches his head and then looks through his pack.
"Well I'm not sure how to dispel that, but I can try to consecrate this place like I did that temple to Abadar."
He digs up two flasks of holy water from his pack and says. "These have worked before, hopefully this will do the trick yet again."
Edric opens up one flask and goes sprinkles its contents around in a large circle around the room and chants in a prayer to Abadar.
"Abadar! O Protector of men and cities! Bless this tomb of the fallen so they may rest peacefully in their slumber, protecting the souls of those who have fallen in battle in this city of Drezen."
Edric finishes one circle and moves closer to the center of the room and begins a smaller concentric circle sprinkling the other flask of holy water in larger amounts this time.
"Abadar, hear our prayer! Let this place come to rest and let your followers live in peace in Drezen yet again!"
Marhok
"I'm afraid not, I've mainly prepared defensive spells for Marhok and you. I didn't think about Consecrate spells yet." Edric admits to Marlowe.
Marhok walks up to him and lays a hand on his shoulder. "We made the area safe for now, we can always come back tomorrow and cleanse this place. We can't be prepared for everything you know, we can try, but it's not as if we're not human."
MiniGM
Once back to the army, Irabeth reports great success
She sits down with you all and says
In order to
reach central Drezen and face the citadel's army, we need to secure the Ahari bridge, as it is the only
remaining crossing in town that provides acces s to the
Citadel. The scouts report that the bridge is guarded by
feral-looking beasts chained to the bridge's weakened
supports and several tieflings on the watchtowers above,
and furthermore that each support has been significantly
weakened by structural damage. It might take a minute or
two, but the beasts chained to the pillars could be driven to
tear the bridge down. Marching an army up to the bridges
will certainly cause the cultists to destroy it, but a smaller
group could sneak in and defeat them quickly without,
hopefully, triggering the destruction of the bridge. Think you can handle it Marhok? There are other places our armies can strike to be a suitable distraction.
Marhok
Marhok thinks to himself and then replies to Irabeth.
"I'm not the stealthiest of people, neither is Edric in his heavy armour. We can try a strike against those cultists, but I might need some help to do it. If I want to take them by chance I might need some magical help to be more light-footed or invisible alltogether. Any information about how many of those beasts there are? I could kill those beasts before I kill any cultists accompanying them, thereby taking out the threat of the bridge foundations collapsing. Though to have a good chance to do so I may need a special weapon to slay those beasts faster than I do with my greatsword."
Marhok looks along the rest of the leaders and councillors among the army council and then at Edric.
"I am game for this particular mission, but who could best aid us in this endeavour? Also what point would you strike as a distraction Irabeth?"
MiniGM
I think everyone has their value, if you want stealth, then obviously you want to take my love, but, you are only as stealthy as your least stealthy, Aron, if we can get his horse down there could be quite valuable as could Sosiel with his casting. It really depends on how you wish to fight. The new man, Murigo, who came to meet with Marlowe, he carries himself like he is a demon in a fight, though he says almost nothing.
Marhok
"Hmm... It is a bit of a dilemma. Arvanshnial? Can you cast Invisibility on us? If not I'd reckon my stealth approach might not be that good in that case we have to rush and deal as much damage possible to take those beasts out. Aron? Can your horse carry two people at the same time? If so you and I could ride together and be swift in our killing of these beasts. If that couldn't work I might have best ask this 'Murigo' fellow to accompany me, do as much damage as possible between the two of us."
MiniGM
Arvan smiles. I can do that, or I could just Give you a couple scrolls of it.
Aron nods about his horse...Though getting her down there will be a challenge as well I suspect. That terrain is likely not ideal. Though I am a good enough rider to do it for sure.
IE it is not a straight path down there. Not man charge lanes
Marhok
The point was not to charge really, but getting across as fast as possible, that way we give them as little time as possible to let those beasts pull on the columns.
Marhok nods when both Aron and Arvanshnial speak up and smiles back.
"Neither I or Edric are good with using scrolls, so either you come with us Arvanshnial or someone who could use those scrolls on us. Nurah perhaps? I'd take the stealth approach over the quick and reckless approach if we need to keep that bridge. My idea is have three of us be Invisible, cross the bridge and take out the beasts before their masters can muster them to bring down the pillars of the bridge."
Marhok
Hmm... tough decision, Marlowe has been a good ally ever since the beginning, but Anevia looks a good fit now too if we can sneak up on those beasts. I'll need to sleep on this one.
Marhok
Murigo, seems to be the best for what I'm planning so I'll use him.
Marhok scracthes his beard and then comes to a conclusion.
"Arvanshnial, if you can supply us with three Invisibility scrolls we can make myself, Edric and that new Pathfinder able to get close and kill those beasts. If that Murigo is like a demon in the fight, he might be able to take out such a beast quite quickly as well."
"Marlowe? Can you ask Murigo if he likes to join me on a mission? Then we can make the arrangements as soon as possible and get this hurdle done with."
Just what you described Mini, cast Invisibility close to the bridge as possible and then try to hurry up over it to get into a position to slay the beasts of burden.
MiniGM
A few hours later the 4 of you. (Arvan being the 4th) arrive near the edge. Down below not 2 but 4 of the beasts are there, two on either side of the long bridge.
He casts invisibility and says jump, at which point he casts Feather Fall. He then sets a rope for you to get up. later.
You all make your way towards the beasts. And you are now 30 feet away from the first two, with the opportunity to surprise them, for the first time Murigo speaks
I will be making my way next to them, you attack will be my cue.

Marhok moves close while invisible and drinks his last potion of Enlarge Person while he moves, having drawn it from his pack before Arvanshnial cast Feather falling on them.
Not sure if I can move and drink and be noticed, else I'll drink, then next round move and strike one of the beasts.
Marhok moves closer to the beasts and aims to strike one of them while enlarged with his greatsword.
