Group building time! Obviously, the first goal of our game is comedy, but it never hurts to see what we've got as far as a team goes:
Ok, so we have:
Getoff Mylawn, NG? Human Evoker Wizard,
Yurian, LG Human Sacred Shield Paladin,
Heiwa, LN Human Monk (no archetype listed),
Variel, Elven Mobility Fighter,
Rakar, Halfling Ninja,
Unnamed, Dwarf Cleric.
Variel: Noticing that your feats appear to be focusing on Range combat. Any particular reason you went mobile fighter vs. archer?
As for the standard roles:
Melee: Yurian, Heiwa, Variel, Rakar
Range: Variel, Yurian
Healer: Unnamed Dwarf Cleric, Yurian
Skill Monkey: Rakar, Heiwa, Getoff
Arcane: Getoff Mylawn
Less traditional categories, but equally important:
Trapfinding: Nope.
Stealth: Heiwa, Rakar
Face: Yurian, Gettoff
Knowledge: Gettoff, Variel
Tank: Yurian
Flesh Shield: Yurian
Damage Dealer: None?
Notes: First off, we have no trapfinder. This is not an unacceptable omission, but will make us vulnerable to magical traps in particular. Second, we have no major damage dealer. Again, everyone has some damage output, so we can probably manage, but I could rebuild Yurian as a damage output character, if we think we need one. Personally, I kind of like the position he's in, as a supreme tank.

Getoff Mylawn |

Well lets see, can't the neeen-jah do the trap thing.
I think Yurian should remain the tank, if we are lucky maybe this unknown player will make a reach cleric, perfect for sitting behind the tank.
Also I did not optimize this character to the max, if I did he would be admixture. I was going for a 1E flavored character

The Dragon Master |

Personally, I don't give a damn about the difference between magical and non magical traps. In the past, I have allowed a houserule that someone with out the trapfinder feature can disable magical traps if they either have ranks in arcana or spellcraft or if they get assistance by a person who does.
As for damage dealing, giving the ninja flanking will do wonders. I think my friend was going for a defensive build, so if you want to go for damage, by all means go for it. But it will not be necessary for you to do so. Honestly there is enough of you that damage won't be a problem.

Yurian |

He can disarm mundane traps, but only someone with the Trapfinding class feature can disarm magical traps. It doesn't always come up, and there are always other ways of getting past a trap, of course.
A dedicated damage output character, like a barbarian or other two handed weapon build, does tend to be a staple of most groups, but I see no reason why it would be essential. Basically, all it means is that we will need to work together more to bring the foes down, and be less dependent on a single guy being able to cut a swath through the enemy, as you often can in many groups. I don't think we'll need the cleric to go damage; that's a pretty tall order for most clerics to cover anyway. All in all, I think our group looks pretty balanced.

Gregor the Barkeep |

greetings all.
As for build (seeing as that is the current conversation), I am planning on alternating levels of brawler and alchemist, so I will have decent melee output, a touch of AoE,some 'spell' support and I do have disable device to assist with trap concerns.

Rakar Waldi |

The neeeen-JA! dots from the shadows XD.
Dragon, how are we handling my insanity? I think schizophrenia with a healthy dose of multiple personalities-one for every alignment, roll 1d9 each day to determine which is dominant
By the way, even w/o flank, Rakar can still dish out a respectable amount of damage using Vanishing Trick and Fast Stealth. If I take Shadow Clones and Smoke Bomb too, he'll damn well be impossible to hit.
Think I might dip in alchemist to get more smoke bombs-or me and Mr. Barkeep can coordinate and he can take Smoke Bombs as a discovery.

The Dragon Master |

This kind of conversation is better for the discussion thread, no?
The door swings on the corner in again, as a large, bear of a man strides in. But this is not what catches your eye. Trying to sneak with him is a quite naked and greased halfling humming to himself. The only thing he seems to be wearing is a full looking sack he clutches in his hand.

Heiwa |

Not entirely familiar with western ways... Heiwa looks to the others from beneath the brim of his conical hat to see if this is 'normal'. "Tell me, are nude halflings common in a tavern?"
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Gregor the Barkeep |

perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Looking at the naked halfling quite quizzically, "Laddie, it is far too early in the day to be so garbed... err... ungarbed." Throwing the halfling a bar towel, he chuckles and continues, "Thought outta make an entire noble ensemble for you!"

Getoff Mylawn |

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 to identify spell
Zok is it, Well I assure you good sir that you are not invisible...Unless I can see invisible, can any of you gentlemen see the wee folk over there
*I will point toward the halfling*

Variel Undovir |

sorry for the lateness! had gotten a bit ill. Will post in the discussion thread later about the points raised by Yurian, once I have a better medium then an iPad to type from :-).
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
"Well I can see him, good sir wizard ... To clearly I might add."
I wonder if this is a halfling custom I am unaware off? If there is time I will ask him later. Variel ponders while still looking at Zok.

Getoff Mylawn |

He reaches into his bag and whips out a strange looking rod. As he waves it around he turns purple and some of the kegs behind the bar fly into his bag.
I know that spell it's meatier swarm, everyone duck
*Dives under the table*

Rakar Waldi |

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Even though he did not see the other halfling at first, when the others started talking about it Rakar turns to the door quizzically. Sighing, he leaps effortlessly across the tavern to the halfling and the man Taking 10 on Acrobatics. "I assure you, kinsman, that you are not invisible. You are, in fact, an ugly shade of purple. Now, please go."
Rakar leans in and whispers in Zok's ear. "Or I will be forced to slay you for dishonoring me, my race, this fine establishment, and my companions." Rakar leans back and smiles again. "Okay?
Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

Yurian |

Yurian draws his sword, pointing it at the tiny madman, "Hold fast, thief! You are no more invisible than you are sane, but if you set to pilfer from these honest shopkeepers, you'll lose a hand in short order, if not your life!"

Heiwa |

Heiwa watches the action curiously. He knocks on the table, to be polite, and then peeks under it at the wizard. "Excuse me, o' ancient one, I have a question. There is a clearly demented naked man having his life threatened by two others, presumably over a minor theft. Is this normal in your country?"

Gregor the Barkeep |

Grabbing a floating keg out of the air, he looks to the bear of a man, "is he with you?"
Looking at the mad purple halfling prancing on the bar as he steals stuff, Gregor gets quite angry. Still holding the keg above his head, "you listen here, Zok. I can definitely see you. Give back our stuff or you'll be the one flying."
reAdy an action to hit him with the keg if he takes Anything else or tries to leave

Getoff Mylawn |

*Peeks out from under the table*
What's this..Is everyone ok?
*looks around, composes himself*
@Heiwa Threatened... in fact his majesty King Matthias' usual protocol is to have the thieves hand removed
You hear that you little eggplant, now stop this nonsense and return Gregors property at once!

Rakar Waldi |

Rakar sighs. Oh well, he thinks. I hoped not to reveal myself so early, but I suppose it can't be helped. Making a few strange signs in the air, Rakar... disappears. A moment later, you hear the fierce battlecry of "NEEEEEEN-JA!!!" as a sword suddenly appears in Zok's tendon... and Rakar with it.
Wakizashi Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Wakizashi Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Sneak Attack Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
All of this is nonlethal.

The Dragon Master |

The ninja's blade hits true, injuring the halfing That also seems to be a crit. And your to hit seems to be incorrect (2+5=7+1=8)
Getoff: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Gregor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Yurian: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Rakar: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Heiwa: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Variel: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Kanop: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
So the way I do combat is anyone goes when they can, but one at a higher initiative can "override" a lower initiative person for mutually exclusive actions (like occupying the same space, killing an enemy thats already dead, etc.). At the end of the round, I post a synopsis of what happens. For this combat, there will be no map, but normally there will be a roll20 link posted.

Yurian |

Yurian looks at the mad little halfling, opening up his mind in order to see the truth beyond the surface; whether the little loon is just the nut he appears, or if there is something more nefarious going on. As he does, he moves, trying to keep up with its frantic movements.
Move action: Detect Evil

Gregor the Barkeep |

does it seem like the halfling is possessed, intellectually limited, or just mad? also, besides being naked and purple, are their any unique aspects of his appearance - scars, injuries, eyes glowing red...?
sense motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
"Fine, you want to steal from us, then steal this!" Gregor throws the keg he is holding at the purple halfling.
nonlethal ranged attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 6 - 4 = 14
nonlethal damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Heiwa |

The monk rises with a sigh and winds through a quick series of martial katas before moving purposefully toward the nekkid halfling. "Give it up, friend. Your kung fu is not strong today."
MOVE: Stand
SWIFT: Dragon Style
MOVE: To crazed Halfling

Variel Undovir |

"I may be new to this country, but I do know that theft isn't condoned anywhere. So I will not sit idly on the sidelines." with these words Variel swiftly moves over to the crazed halfling while drawing his curve blade from its sheath. He twists the blade slightly in order to strike the halfling with the flat of the blade.
Right before the blade swings toward the halfling a shimmer of light passes through it.
non lethal attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 8 - 4 = 17 possibly another +2 from flanking, not certain.
damage if hit: 1d10 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 = 15
move to get to the halfling. Free action to draw sword as part of move. Swift to activate arcane strike and standard to attack.

The Dragon Master |

Zarlak leaps back and appears to quicken.
Gregor misses with a barrel.
Variel also misses with his sword.
Rakar manages to narrowly stab him, missing cutting out his achilles by an inch.
Heiwa moves over to the halfling.
You feel no evil from the halfing, but something on him does radiate evil.
The other patrons try to grab the halfing, but the halfling seems to slip right out of his grasp. A mage tries to shoot some bolts of force, but it seems to hit a shield. It is quite an amusing scene with the entire bar trying to capture the nude hobbit.
End of Round 1
As the crazed halfling runs away, magically hastened, he yells out "YOU'll NEVER CATCH THE GREAT AND POWERFUL ZOOMBOING!!!" He manages to make it out of the door. As of now, he is about 50 away from the entrance.

The Dragon Master |

Acro'd. Here is some dice rolls. Against Rakar: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Against Heiwa: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
Against Variel: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
Patron: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
Patron: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
Patron: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
Patron: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32

Variel Undovir |

What is the distance from where Heiwa, Rakar and I are standing to the door? Just trying to figure out how fast the bugger is, as to know what my next action might be :)

Variel Undovir |

So that would make him have a movement speed of 70 feet (as avoiding AoO's through acrobatics makes you move at half speed for the squares that are threatened normally)
"The miscreant is escaping, we must give him chase!" Variel sheaths his curve blade and while he goes out the door he pulls the Elven longbow from his back.
would put me at around 30 feet behind him

Heiwa |

If this is a rules-light or house-ruled game, I'm fine with however you want to play it. If madcap action is your preference, just say so and I'll drop any discussion of duh rulz and roll with the zaniness. I've got no problem with that. I am just pointing out related rules.
1. Each opponent beyond the first, applies a cumulative +2 to the DC (our CMDs) to evade. So the greased halfling would roll against each opponent's CMD +12. If he is moving full speed instead of half... that's another +10 bonus to everyone's CMD. Generally, I've seen there be a single acrobat roll and that is compared against the CMDs but that isn't a rule, just a trend.
2. It sounds like he has taken more actions than are possible - even if he is Hasted. Heading to the door with Acro - is a Move action. Opening the door, is another move action. That should be his round, unless the door was hanging open.
Again, I'm happy to play through however you want to run it. I'd just like to know what bonuses apply to our CMDs to see how many of us get a swing at this greased pig. :D

Rakar Waldi |

As both the purple halfling and Rakar literally bounce off the walls of the tavern, Rakar decides to bounce back down. Making the same few strange signs, he disappears again. Invisibly moving into the shadows to conceal himself once he breaks invisibility, Rakar draws his shortbow and fires at the other halfling, this time making no attempt to knock him out. Judging from the strange spell that made him go faster, this guy could be a lethal threat.
Shortbow Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Shortbow Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Sneak Attack Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7

Yurian |

Round 2:
"Wait! He is not evil, but something in his possession is; he might be under the control of some vile power!"
Yurian dashes to his gear, scooping up his bow and his quiver as he moves. He rushes out the door, after the others, searching his arrows for a fowling blunt.
