Generally you have to set a specific trigger (i.e. the first opponent that attacks me, I charge the green one when it closes to 30 feet, I attack the first foe that gets past my companions and that I threaten, etc...). That latter one is probably what you are looking for.
I'll give Conal a bit more time, and the move us on.

I'm assuming everyone else is readying attacks too during round 1.
Still seemingly distracted by Kyra's attack the creatures advance slowly as if staggered. The first festrog barely clears the door before Kahwen's long blade bites into its back rupturing some of its tumorous boils. The thing collapses in a heap.
Kahwen I need a Fort save vs disease (DC 11).
The mass of flesh in the main chamber seems to recover from Kyra's divine attack and from the ghouls' feeding upon it. Fresh scar tissue appears on its surface covering over its wounds.

Subtle. ;)
Lumo, though impatient with doors, is ever patient in battle. "Well placed, friend Kahwen! " He readies his blade to strike the next foe who slips past the front line.

Fort Save: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Closer than I'd like...
The tactic worked so well the first time, he prepares it again, adding another side to the slaughterbox the group has developed.

Confirmation Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 7

The second festrog charges with renewed vigor towards Kyra! But Lumo's blade brings it down hard just in front of the cleric. Seeing this, one of the ghouls pockets the glowing sling stone in the big hall, darkening most of the room again. Under the cover of darkness the party can hear the remaining monsters moving about.

Remmy shakes his head.
S-s-smart ones. K-knew this was to easy.[/ooc]
He holds out his hand and grins.
[b]Let's see if they like my c-c-cooking!
Suddenly the party sees bones fly from Remmy's pack. The chicken bones, steak bones, and other things he has been cooking for them and saving the entire time suddenly fly forward and spin in the air before coalescing into the shape of a man sized skeleton warrior! The skeleton warrior nods to Remmy and rushes forward into the room. He quietly whispers to his companions...
Let them waste their ambush on my s-s-servant, then attack!
Standard action to create necromantic servant. Double move from necromantic servant to run into the room. Has half my max hp total.
| Yogadragon's Kyra |
Kyra will cast light again, and advance into the room after the warrior.
I moved my token, but it is under one of the blacked out parts. I'll leave it to the DM to re-reveal the map.

And he strikes!!!
Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

If he can't reach anyone, he moves off to the south side of the room towards the closest enemy.

I can't move my token. Each time I try to grab it, the light object is what gets selected instead. Can someone move me adjacent to Lumo?
"If it wasn't a challenge, it wouldn't be an adventure, friends!" the tengu declares when the undead douse the light that had been left behind.
I'm hoping they're wearing clothes, otherwise, I don't want to know what "pocket" the stone was put in.
As the group follow Remmy's (who is continuing to prove ever more versatile) skeleton into the room, he joins them, slipping just past Lumo and pressing up against the wall inside the doorway. He opens the Wayfinder he wears around his neck along the way to provide some more light.
He's on alert for any threats and will slash at any enemies he contacts or who come within range.
Attack if he runs into an enemy or readied attack if one comes within range after he moves: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Kahwen yelps in surprise and hesitates a moment as another ghoul makes it's presence known a moment too late for him to stop his motion.
Fortunately, he was expecting some kind of trouble and was on his guard. He let out a gust of nervously held air as he managed to twist away from all the creature's attacks.
He chops the one that he had targeted and sees it go down after a blow from Myra a moment later.

Lumo's muscles lock up as the poison travels through his veins. Before he is fully paralyzed he lets out a final noise. "Meep." Do I fall prone from paralysis?
Paralysis is often played like being in a cartoon and freezing in place but at the same time I see the other argument so generally I allow the victims to decide (i.e. freezing in place their own momentum carries them over into a fall). That said all it takes to push someone who is paralyzed over is a move action that provokes and AoO (as in manipulating something in an adjacent square). Also since Lumo is paralyzed (and not stunned) he can retain his grip on his weapons.

If Remmy doesn't use stealth he can move across the room and attack one of the remaining ghouls sans sneak attack. I'm going with blue.
Before Kyra can attack from the position she is in she moves through a square threatened by teal and blue.
teal bite v Kyra (AoO): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 = 11 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 miss

The queer spacial distortions of the spires plays its tricks on friends and foes alike, and the snapping ghouls miss.
Remmy brings down the ghoul closest to the door with a fatal claw strike.
Desperate now, the final ghoul strikes out at the nearest opponents with tooth and claw then retreats a step to gain cover from one of the garish stone pillars.

Kyra attempts to slash at the ghoul once again, but the same spatial distortions that kept the ghoul from hitting her this time save the ghoul from her wrath.
Kahwen
|
Not for the first, and probably not for the last, time Kahwen is shocked by how quickly events can turn in battle. Just moments ago, it appeared that it was going to be 3 ghouls against 3 relatively inexperienced Pathfinders, and he wasn't at all sure Kyra wasn't going to be paralyzed by the clawing that she got.
Not only had she avoided being incapacitated but also a couple of well placed blows (one quite devastating from Remmy) meant that instead of 3 on 2 in favor of the ghouls it was 3 on 1 in favor of the Pathfinders.
Battle ain't over yet, though.
He slides along, following the ghoul as it retreats so that they are both between the pillars and readying himself to move into a flanking position should they not down the beast soon.
He almost feels sorry for the desperate thing as he takes his swing. Almost. Lumo and Conal paralyzed and sorely wounded mitigates the feeling.

Remmy finishes off the last of the ghouls with a slash of his claw. All the ghouls seem to be sailors of a sort, even the twisted bestial festrogs whose ancient belts hang loosely from their emaciated waists.
The room seems to warp for a moment causing a wave of motion sickness to well up from the party members stomachs, but the effect soon passes.

Also, now might be a good time to review the handouts and mission statements.
| Yogadragon's Kyra |
The item we seek was hidden in a side room off of the 'Hall of Flesh Eaters.' I'd say this fits the bill. I'd wager our prize can be found in that room through the rubble choked passage. Before we set to clearing the passageway, lets see what is in the other room. It will take a while to clear the rubble, and I'd hate for us to be ambushed in the meantime. I'd also like to see if we can destroy that horrible pile of flesh... it might be beyond our abilities, but perhaps we could hack it apart...
Kyra will cast detect magic and scan the pulsating pile of flesh.
GM, can I make a heal or knowledge religion check to identify what that thing is?
Kn Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
I'll also burn some channels since we have a number of people who are injured.
channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1
channel: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Everyone heals for 5! Used 4/5 channels.
