And the Giants' post All-Star collapse continues to lurch ever-onward...
At least we have Armored Rugby back to take my mind off of baseball!

captain yesterday wrote: Still can't believe the Knicks traded for Derrick Rose. Bill Simmons has a good analysis of what happened.

I went heavy on WR/TE early in draft. My later stage plan was to grab as many RB cuffs as I could.

Yikes Teddy Bridgewater's leg snapped and his knee dislocated during practice. The injury was so severe rumors say one or more players vomited at the site of it. This was a practice time non-contact injury.
Not sure what the vikes can do know. Geno smith? Colin Kapernick?
I heard he had to be sedated for the MRI, ouch!
Fantasy Draft #2 12 team standard scoring:
(First draft was 2nd of 10 and this draft was 11th of 12 turned out quite different)
Russell Wilson QB
Lesean McCoy RB
Dave Duke Jr. RB
Jay Ajayi RB
James Starks RB
Devontae Booker RB
Jerrick McKinnon RB
Deandre Hopkins WR
Doug Baldwin WR
Jordan Matthews WR
Sterling Shepard WR
Jordan Reed TE
Graham Gano K
Broncos D
Looks like a great draft there Pan, Russell Wilson, and Broncos D, can't get much better than that. :-)
I expect Wilson to really start taking off as a passer this year. :-)

I hope Wilson does take off as a passer too!
I tend to draft differently when I have multiple teams because I don't like having a lot of double picks. Sure if one team dominates chances are they both do, but the opposite is also true. Also, draft position changes how I draft quite a bit. I have one final draft which is an auction on Sunday. I have wanted to do an auction draft for quite some time. Ill report back on the results.

Los Gigantes held on by their friggin' fingernails last night.
Let's see what today brings.
Indeed.
Though, honestly, it seems like they're over compensating for something with that name.
Just saying. :-)

Look,if the Cubs snap the Giants' even-year streak, I hope they snap their own. Using up their anti-superstition mojo on MY team and not fixing their own 108-year drought would just be sad.
Oh, I thought you were talking about Futball.

Nein.
Handegg is where I follow Oakland.
Beisbol is where I follow San Francisco.
Hockey follows I, the Flyers winning Cups hope in 2020 and 2021.
I watched a hockey game, once.
No one scored.
I watched another hockey game, no one scored.
That's about all I can stand.
Captain,
They could say the same thing about soccer/European Football.
Trust me, it's more fun than you think. Certainly more than bleeding and boring base "why are there 9 innings?!" ball.
I don't watch Baseball.
But this is the wacky world of sports. :-)
Ah. I thought you did. Some reason that jumped into my mind. If that isn't the case, I'm glad for you.
I pay attention to ESPN.com but that's about it for baseball exposure.
Supposedly Milwaukee has a professional team, but I doubt it.
Wisconsin also has football team, but it's not in Milwaukee.
The Packers belong to us all, whether you like it or not.
They belong to Wisconsin, not West Virginia, I can assure you of that.
Well so far my Flyers are now only 1 point back in their first two games of the season...

Only one game in, so it's hard to say how the Canucks are going to do this year... but the Sharks and Oilers are both looking depressingly good.
At least the Packers showed up at home...
Cole,
I just want to the Flyers to win the Cup before I turn 45. I'm not quite ready to give up on that.

If it helps, I'll root for The Flyers. :-)
Hilarious enough, my phone thought I wanted to say riot, Philly does that to people I guess. :-)

Hmmm. Good luck with that...
That was a hella f&%&ed up Sunday night game.
Wow... just wow...
I'm just glad WVU didn't embarrass themselves on almost national TV this time around.
I mean, how, how do you miss that terribly from so close.
My theory on ratings dropping is because all the prime time games have been garbage this season. Theory 2 is that folks are cutting cords and just not watching much network or network cable anymore.

That was one epic series, or so i heard, i don't actually watch baseball. :-)

That World Series is destined to be one of the classics: two great teams that play hard and don't quit taking it to seven games, and the winner coming back from a 1-3 start.
Seventh game, extra innings, dramatic brief rain delay that changes the whole vibe... hell, it's a damned feel-good movie.
Finally.
Finally!
FINALLY!

As a Cubs fan, that's definitely an "almost."

I'm looking forward to the next couple of years. Both teams have a lot of talented youngsters and a lot of potential for next season. A rematch would be pretty exciting!
All I know is now I have to wait and see if the Flyers can win in 2017...

Now I need a new "when hell freezes over" metaphor.
Coriat,
When the Cowboys win the Superbowl.
Captain Yesterday fun fact: One of my best friends went to high school with Tony Romo.
I guess he was an a%@%#$&.
Your friend or Tony Romo, Captain?
