I am building a new PFS character - a Tiefling Inquisitor - and I'd love some advice. Race, class and combat style (ranged; repeating crossbow) are set in stone, and I'm leaning toward Fate's Favoured as one of his/her traits. Everything else is malleable.
I'm looking for specific advice on:
1) variant tiefling subraces (asura-spawn looks like the way to go) and optional racial traits
2) a good second character trait
3) archetypes
4) domain/inquisition choice
5) regular feats (although I imagine PBS, Precise Shot, Deadly Aim, etc., will be the way to go)
6) teamwork feats for Solo Tactics
7) equipment to save up for
I have enough GM credits to start at 4th level, in case that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

I've got an Oni-Spawn tiefling inquisitor who likes to change into a troglodyte and go nuts with his natural attacks - he's here. He wasn't built for PFS, but I think the only thing that might be a little out of bounds for PFS is the Fiendish Darkness feat re-styled to apply to his alter self ability, so he can do it 3x/day.
Even at low level, he's a bit of a beast in combat.

You do not need to pick a permanent teamwork until you are level 6. Your latest feat is changable. So you should have plenty of time to pick what feat favors you best
dependign the god the worship for the next trait. There is a erastil trait that ignores one ally for cover. So if you have one ally blockign your shot you ignore the cover they give,
If you want to dump cha. Oni-spawn conversion inquisition allows you to to use wisdom as your social skills. This will allow you more points in other stats.

With the advanced class guide there are supposed to be some more ranged focus teamwork feats to work with the hunter. If you don't want to wait or aren't optimistic going for the preacher archetype is probably better for a ranged guy. Trait wise getting knowledge local might be nice since inquisitors don't normally. Conversion is great to key more things off wis or the tactics domain is another I like to help with bad initiative rolls. Item wise I'd avoid the bane baldric since it's been clarified not to qualify you for greater bane.
