So I know that the Add-Ons have plagued my mind with a few questions that have kept me from immediately going out and purchasing them.
First and foremost, are they exclusive to the Kickstarter? I would assume a few of them are for sure, such as the ones for any kind of discounted game time, but what about some of the others? Like I could easily see some of these showing up again in the future as Skymetal purchases or achievements in the game. Add-ons like the Regional Trait Pack and Twice-Marked of Pharasma seem rather likely to follow that course to me.
Second, I've been wondering about some of the mechanics involved with
a few of the Add-Ons. We know that The Memorial of Honor will help ease the side effects of battle for your character, but will it be worth taking a hike to that specific location every time you get into combat? Will this possible mark that location as an easy target for people looking to kill and rob others?

While that is true, it might make sense for some to buy it later on, even if it does cost a bit more, as opposed to at the beginning of the year when money can be a little tighter.
The Add-Ons are also more intriguing when they are exclusive to the Kickstarter, similar to the Daily Items.
Though I most definitely hope to see Regional Traits as an add-on that can be purchased later on as well.

I think that if it's primarily cosmetic, or has bery limited mechanical effect, it may remain GoblinSquad-exclusive. Maybe there would be ways to join the GS at a later date, but I expect it would be a lot rarer.

There's no telling what some players will do. That's one of the things that makes sandbox MMOs so fascinating from a psychological perspective; all the unexpected emergent behaviour patterns.
One thing you can be sure of though, is that if the monument attracts PKs, it will also be a frequent hangout of The Empyrean Order. TEO's mission is to make the lives of griefers and other murderers a great deal harder and shorter, so that others can prosper in greater peace. You don't have to fight in order to join us, either. We're happy to provide combat training, but every settlement needs its crafters too.

To be honest, if they wish to make them all Goblin Squad exclusive, I would be psyched. There are a lot of things I would like to grab, but am finanically unable to do so at the moment. However, with what little I do have left in my wallet to put towards the Kickstarter, it would be nice to know what will only be made available now and what kind of mechanical benefits they might give so that I can make an informed decision on what to grab now.
Such as, if The Memorial of Honor gave us more corded items for our characters, I would very much like to invest in one or two of them.

And I've actually been trying to get caught up on some of the Guilds and Chartered Groups so that I might start to join some of them. At the top of the list currently is The Empyrean Order which I would like to join quickly so that I might lend my vote to the Land Rush.

I am part of a pledging guild. If we take an add-on (ex. Twice-Marked of Pharasma) do we pay $20 for 6 copies of that upgrade? Meaning, does everyone get each upgrade purchased?
Edited to Add: as an addendum to the above, I'm supporting on my own at the Watcher level as well as with my guild. If we aren't getting multiple copies of upgrades, can I upgrade on my smaller pledge and add those upgrades to my guild character?

Ryan has often repeated the line "The only way to ensure you get the add-ons is through Kickstarter."
This doesn't preclude them being available later on, but there are good odds that most of them won't be.
Thanks Dario. I've been trying to get caught up on a lot of what's happening, but the amount of information that is out there to sort through and process can be a bit overwhelming at times, so its quite possible I missed his posts about that. Though if I'm quickly sifting, damn those negatives to perception for doing such, through a thread I often keep a lookout for his posts.
However, I get the feeling I'll likely lean towards the more mechanically sound add-ons over cosmetic ones at this time in hopes the latter will show up later on, even if its at a higher price.

My understanding is that you have to purchase one add-on per character, so a guild could technically buy something like the Twice-Marked of Pharasma Add-On up to twelve times and then choose which characters each will apply to.

I'm glad to hear it, though I think there is a registration process I still need to start making some head way in tonight. Hopefully it will go through quickly so I can lend a hand to the Land Rush vote. (Even if its not really necessarily with how the numbers look now.)

You have to purchase add-ons to a character per character. So to get a $10 add-on to all 6 guild-level characters, it'll cost $60 extra. I'd recommend adding your $20 to the guild pledge (see if you can work it out with the holder of that pledge) as the easiest for Goblinworks to be able to process it.

The general consensus is that add-ons are per character. So even if you've got six accounts from the Guild pledge, only one character on all those accounts would get it. (The exception being the game time add-ons, which obviously go to a single account).
If you want the add-on applied to your guild pledge account, you should really buy the add-on to the guild pledge. It may be possible for customer support to juggle it around, but it'll probably be a headache to do so.
Edit: Ninja'd. Double.

The Empyrean Order <-- there's our 'pitch', which tells you more of what we're about, and how to find our forum and join.
I'm thinking the memorial might cure status conditions like 'fatigued', 'shaken', 'sickened' and so on. It might give you a temporary save bonus vs. more serious things like poison and disease, and I doubt it will cast something as powerful as remove curse for free. But who knows, maybe it could cast heal on you and fix practically everything at once. I'm just assuming less power so it doesn't step on the toes of those playing clerics too much.
Now, the Twice-Marked thing might make your life better with extra threading, but also more... interesting, if there were some encounters with undead which only occur when such a character is around.

I've read through a good portion of The Empyrean Order's thread already, but it will have to wait till tonight for me to put in a registration form.
As for the Memorial, I kind of saw it as a way to remove any negative effects one might garner from the issue of dying and the ordeal of coming back to life.
The Twice-Marked on the other hand is still a bit of a mystery to me on what it will entail, though extra-threading would be rather cool and some special encounters would make it a bit more intriguing.
