I've started preparing Eyes of the Ten series to run for a group of friends and I noticed the sheets list 0 XP except number 2 but I read on the forums that it grants experience now. Were the new sheets not added to the downloads?

No, the Chronicles have not been updated. Part 1 gives 2 xps, parts 2-4 grant 1 XP. The Guide 4.2 will clarify this further.

So, curiosity question, does this mean that the fresh level 12's that go into Eyes of the Ten will be level 13 and a 1/3rd by the end of the arc?

Looks like it would be 13 +2/3rds. 4 adventures totaling 5 XP.

5xp total: 13 and 2/3s.

I haven't read through them yet -- don't want to spoil it. Four parts, and the first one is worth 2x, I'm assuming?

Keep in mind, you have to play the entire series from start to finish before you can play anything else. You also have to be able to play the entire series without hitting level 14. Part 4 could get you to 14 I imagine, but you can't be 14 at the start of part 3 or 4.

Out of curiosity, why have the chronicles not been updated? It seemed relatively easy to get the new module chronicles out when 3.1 changed the rules on levels for module credit. I would think since this is a digital only product it would be rather simple to change just that one page. Or since the chronicles for scenarios are not a separate file (like the module chronicles) does the Paizo publishing process mean the entire scenario would have to go through too many steps to get it done easily?

We will eventually get to it. But, right now, getting a total revamp of Guide 4.2, as well as planning for Paizo Con and Gen Con, take precedence.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but I was wondering if it was explained how GM credit for Eyes of the Ten works now with the 4.2 Guide.

We are getting ready to run it, and since GM's now get boons listed on chronicles, do they automatically get the Venture-Captain boon when running it? Do they need to GM all four parts to get it, or just Part 4?

We were thinking about splitting up GM duties across the arc, but I didn't want to screw anyone out of the awesome boon.

IIRC it was stated that you have to have exactly 33 xp when starting the series.

Well, you necro'd a old post... ;)

Rules have changed since his post, and you are correct now. Currently you have to start playing EoT at 33 XP exactly.
