This pumice cleaning stone seems quite simple. However, when wetted and applied to any object, it will immediately clean any mundane dirt or stain. The stone can be activated in this manner once per day, and retains its cleaning ability for one hour after activation.

doesn't seem like it would be worth that much money. It's only using one function of the spell, and not even the most useful function. seems like a neat idea, but it's less useful than an everburning torch or a bag of tricks even though it costs more
It costs less than a bag of tricks. It does cost more than an everburning torch, but an everburning torch is dispellable.
I will admit the price is probably pretty high: It's the straight up cost of a one-a-day, use activated prestidigitation effect, of which this creates only a subset. So if you prefer, have it cost 100 gp instead.
I just decided to create it as an aternative to having the Wizard do the party's laundry everyday.

Actually, 100 gp doesn't sound too bad, or even 200. Think about it: a Pres spell by a first level caster will cost five gold pieces to purchase the service. If you were to have a magical laundromat, you could clean... let's say one article of clothing every five seconds. Since the normal spell works on all of the articles of clothing, you could set your cleaning rates to a gold piece per five articles of clothing, which is a fifth of the rate for the normal spell. So, you could gain a gold piece every twenty-five seconds, if you work continuously. That would mean that you get two gold and four silver per minute, and one hundred and fourty four gold pieces per hour of work, assuming that you either work continuously or hire a second person to help. At that rate, you earn back the cost of the item.
Actually, it should be 100 gp rather than 200 because it's based on a cantrip rather than 1st Level spell. You could also cut out another 10 gp by having it begin operations on command rather than being use-activated. That way if it gets wet accidentally, it doesn't lose its utility for the day.
Use activated spell effect: Spell level X Caster Level X 2,000 =
1/2 X 1 X 2,000 = 1,000 base price1 use a day means 1/5th price = 200 gp.
