3) Don't bold the feats, spells, and etc for construction requirements
4) Italicize spells
5) Drop purify food and drink, since the food is fresh from create food and water

7) Bold cost.
There are several food-producing items in the 3.5. Magic Items Compendium. Just look those up and use those stats. One is even a cornucopia.
Or just look up the Sustaining Spoon and reflavor the mechanics. Instead of making it a spoon that produces bland gruel, make it a magic tablecloth that produces picnic fare or an Asian set of nested baskets that produce dim sum.
I let players in a previous game find the dim sum basket and they were highly entertained by it and thought it made perfect sense as a variant Sustaining Spoon.
