OK so there is a rather exhaustive discussion about flurry of blows going on among my players.
The following are the questions that we have. (On this note, I already know what the Rule states) My question is has there been. (Or can I get) Some Clarification from the game designers.
So the question are the following.
#1: With Sohie. Can you flurry in the Light armor. (My understanding is that you can not, Even if this dose make the inclusion of light armor basically useless)
#3: With ether the Sohie, or the feat that makes you able to use your Deities Weapon as a monk weapon. When you flurry of blows.
Call all of the attacks be with the weapon.
Example.
I use a Naginata as my Sohie Weapon, It is my understanding that I could make every flurry attack with the Naginata.
But it would seam that others contest half the attacks. (Or the 'two weapon fighting' attack of the flurry would have to be made with your unarmed strike.)
This dose ignore the entire. "In any combination" Statment of the flurry text.

By RAW, you can't flurry in Light Armor even with the Sohei. By RAI, I bet you probably can.
If you can flurry with a weapon, you can make every single attack in the flurry with that weapon. The two-weapon fighting language in there is pretty much just to make sure people didn't try combining Flurries with TWF, as they did in 3.5.

1. A sohei, by RAW, cannot flurry in light-armor; the reason being that the armor and weapon proficiencies are not replaced but added to.
3. When you flurry, each attack may be with the same weapon, or each attack may be with a different flurry-able weapon, or any combination thereof. You could have all your attacks with the sohei's naginata, or with unarmed strikes, or mix them in any way you want.
If your monk wielded a nunchaku in one hand, fighting fan in another, and still used his feet for kicking, he could use all three forms of attack in the same flurry. In any order and with any number of repetitions and back-n-forths. Or he could use his fan exclusively. Or the nunchaku, or his feet(elbow, headbutt, etc)

Ya so the flurry works as I thought.
And on the note of "By RAW, you can't flurry in Light Armor even with the Sohei. By RAI, I bet you probably can."
This is also largely what I am thinking.
I totally agree that RAW states that you can't flurry in Armor in any situation.
But I would like a RAI post on this from the game designers.
Because It just seams to me that There is no reason to give Sohie Light Armor if that is not the case.
Really the Position of a Light Armor Wearing Weapon Flurrying Sohie, Is the only way that this is not the Worst Monk Arch-type. (Because of what you give up for the ability to flurry with a weapon)
And when you consider that any of the weapons you can pick are really not a real improvement over a 2d10 Damage Unarmed Strike by the end it compounds it.
So thanks for the re-afirmment on the Flurry thing.
But I am still wondering if there has already been a RAI commnet on the armor thing.

The RAW is confusing for the Sohei, and I don't want to start the argument again, but I disagree with mplindustries and LoreKeeper on their interpretation of flurrying and armour.
In any case, once your monk is able to flurry, you do not have to limit half your attacks to unarmed strike or anything like that.
