Hello. We are two adult players looking for a game to join in L.A. We are experienced and enjoy a nice balance of roleplaying and combat.
We're happy playing with Pathfinder only rules, or a homebrew.
We're serious gamers, but have a sense of humor, too. We would like to find a group without drama or drama queens.
The last group we were in had one player bossing everyone around, and the GM -- his significant other -- let him get away with it. We started at first level, yet this guy had unlimited money, a mansion, servants, and a carriage to ride around in. He also ran away from any mildly dangerous fights. He'd rather ride in his carriage than fight. Needless to say, this wasn't much fun for the rest of us, and we only lasted a few sessions with this broken group.
So we're looking for a game with fun players, good storytelling, and people who want to play the game rather than running from fights.
Normally, the games we're in last for a year or two. We're in it for the long haul -- to hang out and have fun.
