Praxim knocks an arrow, staring quizzically at this imposter thread Rhianni seems to have befriended. Convinced there's no danger at the moment, and getting nothing from his detect evil, he relaxes.

Obviously the DM was to grief stricken to continue on in the same thread where Markum passed from this world. It's very understandable.

Lucian, I suggest underground or urban for favored terrain.

For favored enemies, common and weaker enemies tend to be human or undead. Aberrations or monstrous humanoids would be good for rarer, stronger threats.

Another day of patrolling the area around sandpoint. Lucian and Fang, now a common sight in sandpoint, turn in for a quit pint of ale and a stew at the rusty dragon. Also not the most sociable inhabitant of sandpoint, he knows the people and has a warm word for everyone.

If Rhianni approaches Lucian and offers him to read his future Lucian will blush and nod. He will say that his ancestors watch over him and he is always willing to know their wishes.

At this point, I'm thinking it was a ghoul or a flesh golem of some sort.

Lucian would like to get 2-3 bottles of holy water.

So, do we stock up on supplies first and organize better defences for the town, or do we go across the river?

I guess making a quick detour to the local temple wouldnt take that much time and could make a mayor impact..

Rhianni would want to do a preliminary check across the water first, because she doesn't know if there is anything to be gained by going that way yet. After that stocking up would be her prefered option..

I am so sorry for not being very active. My time is being used up by family health issues. I don't want to drop out, but my posting will be sparse for the foreseable future.

Can I flag her as having bought a scroll of Spontaneous Immolation from Orcs of Golarion, then add the costs for scribing it into her spellbook? She obviously won't have it prepared right now.

Good Luck in getting everything back to normal over there, I hadn't heard much about that in the UK news channels.

Just to let you know I'll be at PaizoConUK next weekend 20th-23rd-ish and therefore won't be posting. And again from 2nd Aug to 5th Aug at the local Music Festival, so feel free to GM bot for those periods so as not to slow anything down.

In case it wasn't obvious before, I don't personally hold to the camp that says all paladins have to be stuck-up, narcissistic, sanctimonious pricks that are always condescending in their perfectness and ready to let anybody know how much better he is than they are.

He is a paladin, and would never have actually hurt that guy, no matter how much of a jerk he was. With his archetype, Praxim doesn't have immunity to fear, so I figured a little PTSD would be kind of fun. I gather from Rhianni's response the girls are whispering something about Markum and Quinion, and yes, that's pretty much it, but he was also reeling from what he had just suggested (essentially euthanizing that farmer despite all his Erastilian doctrines about protecting the community and its members, especially the sick and those that produce its food), so that man hit a hugely raw nerve.

When he calms down, he will be appalled at what he did, and he will abide by the law, so if they get back and Sheriff Hemlock demands thirty lashes in the town square, that's what Praxim will accept.

Or worse...apologize! :)

My levelling is completed. Nothing too exciting in the spells department; I took Fireball and Haste this level, two very standard spells with - hopefully! - welcome applications. ;)

Feat-wise, I took Cypher Mage to prepare for the prestige class I'm shooting for, and Empower Spell because... because I'm an Evoker. *shrug*

I did the changes and leveled Lucian. I took boon companion to flesh out Fang a bit more. Well I still need a fav. enemy, what would be your advice. I can imagine undead maybe after this encounter, but there might be another good hint.
Is there someone to enchant our weapons?
