Hello! Please introduce yourself the player here, and we'll get everyone's character sorted out. A few of you are playing pre-gens for this, so it would be helpful for the folks playing their own PCs to describe their PCs as well.

Hello!

I am Jim Page, known on the forums as Wei Ji The Learner, or my sometimes seen Starfinder Alias Flush Gurdon, Custodian, or as GM Wageslave (though I've yet to PbP GM it's in progress).

Been playing PbP for a bit, prefer third-person interaction, first person speech, and currently I'm on a trip to meet some friends in a writing group, which will make my posting this coming Saturday and Sunday a bit spotty, but back in full next Monday.

As far as pregen experience, I have played O Bo Zaya, Navasi, and Keskodai as L1.

Given I'm going to be roughly incommunicado for a couple of days really soon, I'm okay with being assigned a pregen role, if that will help speed things up, and anyone who wishes to be familiar with my posting style please feel free to look at some of the games I have played.

Pathfinder / Starfinder is my very first pen and paper RPG ever and I have been playing on these forums since 2013. I have played a lot of games on these forums and GM'd about just as many. You can look through my campaign tab for all games past and present.

As far as pregen's I can fill in whatever we need. I can play any of them.

I'm Cwethan. I've been playing on the boards for about a year and a half, and I love how Society play means I actually get to finish PbPs!

I'll be playing Vixi Trixen, a Pop Star Operative. She's vaguely inspired by Josie and the Pussycats: Outer Space, but doesn't have any particularly quirky mechanics.

Heyo! This is Chris, aka Id-Sinitis, level 4 shirren star shaman affiliated with the Wayfinders faction! His stats are up to date, but I have to add the digital Chronicle sheet for his PaizoCon boon (Xenowardens Affiliation). I'll try to get that done this week.

No outstandingly quirky mechanics, mostly uses magic missiles for offense. Not as good at healing as most mystics, but I have some healing available.

If nobody objects, I'd like to take the operative pregen, since that's what my 702 is shaping up to be and I wanna play around with it.

Hello, folks! This weekend should be okay as far as slow posting, Wei Ji; I can't imagine I'll have much more than the intro post up by then. I will ask that folks fill in Initiative, Perception, and Sense Motive modifiers, as well as Mysticism if you have it trained, for your characters on Slide 1, and add your icon to Slide 2. (Once you know who you're playing, for folks with pre-gens!)

Looks like we could use some muscle, and I've never played a soldier before, so I think I'll try my hand at Obazaya.

That'd leave Envoy, Mechanic, Solarian.

I can't really do pet classes well, so between Envoy and Solarian, what do folks think?

Once the pregen is selected, the added bonus is because it's a pregen anyone can put the stats up on the requested location to help speed things along... :)

An Envoy's always welcome - I vote Navasi!

I actually try to nudge people away from the pre-gen solarian for this one. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say that you might see some underwater combat, which makes his slashing solarian weapon less than ideal.

Thanks GM! Yeah, maybe they took that out of the current versions of the Guides when they expanded the rules about clearing conditions, etc. I think it was part of the same rule that said you couldn't change out their spells, but as you say, that's not in either guide any more.

I'll update Obo's stats.

As a side note, I'm trying to use a custom avatar for her. Is everyone else seeing her avatar as the image of Obozaya's face, or are y'all seeing a generic lizardfolk face?

Disregard. I figured it out. Apparently, at some point I installed the Pathfinder add-in (or whatever it's called) for Chrome. That lets me see my own (and others'?) custom avatars. I didn't realize that was required. Thanks, all!

Hey folks, sorry to be a bit slow! I've had a confluence this week of freelance, judging a contest that got waaaay more entries than we expected, and another volunteer thing. Most of this clears up after Monday, and I'll move things along much more quickly. Thank you for your patience!

No worries, I've been getting beaten up by work, so kind of glad for the slower pace.

...lesson learned: Don't take vacation when folks are just going to slack and ignore the basics that need to be done at work while you're gone if you can possibly help it.

Thanks again for your patience! Magic items are judged, turnover is submitted, and I can keep up the pace much better from here!

Kate, where did the word "clophirium" come from? How did you come up with it? I'm just curious from a creative-process standpoint.

Honestly, I played around with different syllables until I found a combination that I liked that returned no Google results! I'm actually not that great at naming things. It was definitely called "unobtainium" in my outline.

Though I do keep reading it as chloroform. Haha.

I'd say either that or try to get into the northwest door past the one guard. Might be less disruptive, but less chance of a smoking gun.

I think we have had a few smoking guns so far finding personal effects all over the place.
