Surprised I didn't already make a thread for this. This new movie is by Zach Cregger, the same guy who did the very entertaining Weapons. The trailer had me intrigued, as did his participation.
I'm not a big RE game guy. I'm familiar with some folk who are, however, and they've seen the movie. From those reviews, it sounds like a really good horror movie, just not a good Resident Evil movie.
Not sure if I'll take time to see this in the theater, or just wait for it to come out on streaming.
