Move actions and Daredevil abilities

Daring Stunt allows leaps and strides and requires at least 10 ft of movement
Scrambling Retreat is stride only. So are feats like Caroming Charge and Rushing Stride.

It feels like Daredevil is a class that should be able to do more when they are knocked prone or driving/riding a vehicle.

I think Crawl, Drive and board should be able to be a part of more Daredevil activities. Maybe not all of them, although I think that would be pretty easy to implement, but Daring Stunt feels needlessly restrictive for sure and I think having something to do from prone before having the opportunity to get kip up really feels missing from the class.

Also: Is there a general rule that you have to be standing to undertake an action that has you fall prone as part of the action?

It feels like that is built into the rules somewhere but I can't find it easily. If not then REBOUNDING FALL STUNT becomes one of the only things you can do as a daredevil to stand up if you start a turn prone (before getting the almost obligatory kip up feat for this class).

Kip Up feels so obligatory it should be granted, perhaps even earlier than 7th or perhaps as half of it before and all of it at 7th, like as a Free Action that provokes or as one-action that doesn't.

Maybe the Stunt Driver feat (or something similar) could unlock a "do other DD feats/abilities w/ a vehicle" option.

ETA: A personal vehicle that is, so maybe more in line with your other thread. Late 70's/early 80's has lots of media with cyclists, turbo-bikes, and such...though the gap might be a strike against it as well.

Prone
Source Player Core pg. 445
You're lying on the ground. You are off-guard and take a –2 circumstance penalty to attack rolls. The only move actions you can use while you're prone are Crawl and Stand. Standing up ends the prone condition. You can Take Cover while prone to hunker down and gain greater cover against ranged attacks, even if you don't have an object to get behind, which grants you a +4 circumstance bonus to AC against ranged attacks (but you remain off-guard).
If you would be knocked prone while you're Climbing or Flying, you fall. You can't be knocked prone when Swimming.

I don't see a penalty to reach, Acrobatic checks, or Athletics checks while prone. Thus, the daredevil can use many of their abilities unimpeded while prone. Daring Stunt requires 10 feet of movement, so that is off limits. The "Stride after the Shoved creature" part of Shove won't work nor will the Leap part of Forceful Kickoff Stunt, but that does not prevent the rest of those actions. I would totally allow Rebounding Fall Stunt while prone.
