I am gonna be playing in a 2E Game soon and while I am pretty well versed in Pathfinder 2E as a Player and GM the sheer ammount of options and different things they do in Starfinder 2E is giving me a bit of analysis paralysis. Besides that the Player core doesn't really give you any guide or advice on what gear players should have or have any class or adventures kits like Pathfinder to make it easy to start.
So I am looking for gear for two characters. Mine and my fiancée
My character is a Dragonet Solarian +4,+2,+1,0,+1,+1 and is small sized with their ancestry feat. The only gear I have locked in for them is Skyfire Armor, a medkit and a phase shield. I could swap to Shotalashu armor to save a few credits but I don't like the aesthetics of it. I don't think I need any other weapons as a solarian because of solar weapons and flares. So I mostly need advice for adventuring gear. I am not sure if the GM is gonna make us track food, but in that regard my character has a indeterminately sized swarm of Pest Drakes that he is a part of that he takes care of, and don't know if pet food is a thing in Starfinder.
The Second Character is an Awakeened Animal(Ferret) Soldier Bombard, tiny sized. (No she didn't intentionally make a rocket racoon clone, she actually just wanted to be a ferret and she always plays classes that blow things up with wanton and no thought for collateral damage or her allies). Stats not set in stone yet but definitely at least +3 Dex and +4 Con. So what kind of area weapons are best for a bombard and what adventuring gear and grenades should she go for. She is also probably going to be the Pilot and rogue for the party.
I believe the other players are set on their own but if you want to throw any extra advice feel free. One is a Borai(Human) Healing Mystic (relevant stats are dex +1, wis +4 and cha +3) they plan on being the face. The onky gear they were torn on was armor. The last player is an Android(shaped and sized to look like a dwarf) Witch warper. I know they went Int not Cha for KAS and that they are focused on all the knowledge skills. I don't know anything more detailed for him unfortunately.
Thanks in advanced for any help.

I also lament the lack of adventure kits, as it was a huge help when making one shots and the like (also a stable guideline for beginner players).
Solarian:
I would consider the skyfire armor due to its lack of upgrade slots, if sholashtu doesn't fit fine, Defrex Hide is another option. Or 5 credits more instead to go Freebooter (as Max dex only applies to AC not reflex and the AC stays the same and you ignore the check penalties with your STR anyway).
With Skyfire Armor or Freebooter, you're basically down to a few credits. Get a container first to carry your stuff and a hygiene kit to be socially acceptable, and you got the basics covered.
As a very athletic character, you may want to take the Climbing kit or the Autograppler. If you got Crafting, Maker's App is kinda nice to make more items during Drift Travel.
Soldier
Get the guns with the biggest AoEs to make your Fighting Style work for you. Go for the Stellar Cannon first, as burst-area is the easiest to use (as your position matter only for range) and the damage is good (in addition to training in martial weapons, which matters for Primary Strike). Go Defrex Hide until there is enough credits to go heavy armor. Then the Container and Hygiene kit. Then you could purchase a usable grenade shell for the future (as grenades can deal with damage types) though there isn't enough left for a grenade (maybe you can buy one and "lend" it to her though, as it won't break permanently with the shell).

Solarions weapons are kinda crap at low levels. I'd strongly recommend that you get a good melee weapon. Personally, I really like the Fangblade because boost can be very powerful (its essentially a free Vicious Swing)

A D8 1 handed weapon with reach at level one seems reasonable. The extra reactive triggers seems like it would offset lack of boost.
