I've heard good things about it but I'm not sure if it's on Xbox yet, I'll look for it though.

I finished my first Normal playthrough of Star Wars Zero Company.

Had a fantastic time with it, it's a lot more forgiving than X-Com, and had a really strong Star Wars story that I enjoyed experiencing. The campaign is fairly short at about 42 in-game cycles (days), but I'd recommend this to anyone who like Star Wars, X-Com or who wants to dip their toe into turn-based tactical games coming from RPGs or other interests.

That's a well thought-out review DQ. Thanks for the info.

Currently PC only, but theoretically it's getting console release by the end of the year.

I'm genuinely amazed at how quickly people get through games.

It took me a year to complete Elden Ring.

I'm still working on defeating Radiant Consort Radahn (the last boss in the Elden Ring DLC, literally the only boss I haven't beaten).

On the one hand, I want to start New Game+ on the other hand if i can't beat him in the first game I'm not going to in NG+, I know, I tried it).

If anyone has tips I'm all ears (I've watched a few videos on YouTube, but my skill set is more filthy casual so their strategies go out the window as soon as I walk through the door).

Forza Horizon 6 so far is my go to turn my brain off after work game.

Something that might be of interest to you.
There is a British radio channel called Classic FM. In addition to normal classical music, it also has two shows, called Next Level and Saturday Night At The Movies. The first plays video game music, while the second plays film music.

On the most recent (Next Level) show, the host mentioned a game released last month, which he described as quite gruesome in visuals. However, the soundtrack is a mashup of classical and metal. This will appeal to many of you, so here is the link (on YouTube).

Yeah, I've been working 12-13 hours a day, 6 days a week for a couple of weeks now and then editing gopro footage after work and cramming all my other living into the rest of my free time on Sunday so haven't played any games in quite awhile (which is cool, hours get cut in December so building up my winter savings).

Wow. That's a lot of work!
