Potential Issues With Precious Ammunition Section

General Discussion

This is based on the assumption that the Starfinder books are intended to be standalone products. If I missed something somewhere, please let me know.

I noticed some confusing text in the "Precious Ammunition & Weapons" section of the Player Core, specifically a couple of paragraphs that appear to be brought over directly from the PF2E GM Core, but seem to be inadequately modified or incomplete.

For example, the first paragraph on 278 includes "Some rare materials require master or even legendary proficiency", but no additional guidance is included. Page 253 of the PF2E GM Core elaborates that low-grade requires expert proficiency, standard-grade requires master proficiency, etc, but I couldn't personally find that information in the the SF2E Player Core or SF2E GM Core.

The next paragraph indicates that "...creating higher-level items and more powerful magic runes with precious materials requires greater purity". Afaik "magic runes" aren't really relevant in this section, so I assume that reference is an accidental carry-over.

Also, on 278 and 279, "Orichalcum Ammunition" and "Silver Ammunition" both show "[purity]-grade [material] weapon", but then still show a special price for weapons after (assumedly) a listed ammunition price (since that's what every other precious material stat block shows). I'm guessing this is also an accidental carry-over, since similar stat blocks appear for silver and orichalcum weapons page 240 of the PF2E GM Core.

Also, I feel like some information necessary to justify the three listed grades of certain kinds of precious material ammunition/weapons is missing, specifically silver and cold iron. Most stat blocks list a specific benefit for higher grade versions of the ammunition/weapon (e.g. high-grade adamantine can handle harder targets, notably an embedding of precious material properties listed elsewhere in the PF2E GM Core), but those two at least don't appear to offer any benefits for higher-grades (or lower-grade usage restrictions that would make higher-grade stuff a necessary money sink).

Also, tbh I'm not sure what "Items made of materials with a lower grade than expected for the item's level, or of a higher grade than necessary, will mention the precious materials grade" on page 278 is supposed to mean in this context, wondering if that's also a hold-over (it does appear in the PF2E GM Core).
