Seriously. It's not even good by 1990s standards.

I literally can't figure out which books I'm supposed to buy. Never mind actually FINDING a book to buy. Isn't that a problem? Here's a guy trying to give you money, but he CAN'T!

Well good news, they're in the process of rolling out a new site.

It's good on a computer, for me at least. I don't like that product reviews were wiped out and I don't like that it's not easy to see the latest product reviews (like we could between 2009-2020) but besides that it's good. Not so good on mobile.

The Paizo website is a dinosaur from a bygone era of the web* that's been tinkered with many times over the years to try and do a lot of different things. But the old dinosaur is being put out to pasture soon with a new store rolling out any day now.

*I say this with some degree of affectionate nostalgia since I still recognize things I saw two decades ago when Dragon and Dungeon were cancelled.

In a way, it's actually cool it's so ancient. Because it means it's been in constant, regular use since the days when webforums were a common way to communicate, before people abandoned them for social media. The fact people still come here in reasonably large enough numbers to merit its continued existence is pretty cool.

Store-side though... yeah.
