Using the special boon from 6-99

The Crimson Apprentice boon, is it for the character who played the scenario, or is it one used for creating a new character?

I cannot find a copy of the text online, and would like to know it before deciding to use it. If the former, it is useless to me, if the latter, I have ideas.

You can only "buy" the boon on the character that got credit for the adventure. There is no choice to be made before "using" it. Just download it and read.
