Abilities with no ranges

Rules Discussion

I heard that Battle Medicine, Treat Wounds, and Grapple don't have any ranges listed.

Is that true? Can I really use these abilities from across a room? If so, then that's totally smurfed up.

They all require the use of your hands, so they would be limited to your reach, or the reach of your weapon for maneuvers done with a weapon that has the appropriate trait.

Is it true that ranges aren't listed in the actions? Yes.

Is it true that you can assume unlimited range from that, instead of needing to reach the target? Obviously not.

But I think you knew that when you created the topic.

Yes if the question was something like "can I use my reach with activities/actions like Battle Medicine, Treat Wounds, and Grapple?" the topic would be more honest.

Including reach is valid for those things or just attacks can do this?

Reminds me of a 5e joke. Stabilizing a dying creature has no range limit, therefore you can send thoughts and prayers to help any dying creature in the world.
