Mistakenly gained a new Player ID number

So I went my local game store to participate in Pathfinder Society. When asked: "Do you have a Pathfinder Society Play ID number?", I answered "No". Here I am now trying to create an account. It says that email is in use. I recover it, and now I see I have a Play ID number.

So my question is: Is there a way to move the session for this new character to my current account?

Honestly I might just mulligan the character and let start over, but obviously it would be nice to gain the credit.

If you can contact the GM or the event organizer, whoever did the reporting can also update it with the correct number.
