Hi, I've read the first 6 volumes of Pathfinder comic books by Dynamite (through Runescars) and enjoyed them very much. I started listening to "Curse of the Crimson Throne" Pathfinder Legends audio drama from Big Finish (having experienced the "Rise of the Runelords" adventure path from the Pathfinder Adventures PC game, I skipped that audio drama).
However, I noticed immediately that the Curse of the Crimson Throne audio drama starts with Ezren, Valeros, Harsk and Merisiel searching for Kyra, yet Kyra is repeatedly referred to in the audio drama as "Merisiel's friend" and while they don't outright say it so far (I'm only about 20 minutes in) the implication is that Ezren, Valeros, and Harsk don't really know Kyra at all.
Doesn't this contradict the early comic books (which take place before Curse of the Crimson Throne), where Kyra is already an adventuring companion to Ezren, Valeros, and Harsk as well as Merisiel as soon as comic book vol. 1? Can someone more familiar with the lore explain this, or are the comic books and audio dramas just not in continuity with each other? I'd like to know where the comic and audio drama stand in relation to canon before investing more time listening to the audio dramas (they're very long). Thanks!
