DM Panic |

A DM note on conversations and time (since this came up in Chris' game).
Normally I allow a single sentence to be uttered as part of a combat round as a free action. Roughly 12-15 words.
When out of combat, I usually pace elapsed time at 6 seconds (1 round) per 12-15 words spoken.
Mukluk's speaking in the bunk room occupied the span of ~18 rounds. There was probably another ~12 for everyone else combined. So you had about 30 rounds before Daylin arrived.
Behind the scenes, Daylin overheard you guys somewhere around ~15 rounds ago when he was coming back with water for Tyrol. Then, realizing there were several of you talking, he picked up the kitty and "Q" and crept back up on you all.
While it was the "right thing" to do to tend to the prisoners, your characters would all likely know (well anyone with a 10+ Wisdom would know) that the guild house is on alert now about your presence.

Mukluk will aid, as promised.
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12 Heal
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13 Heal
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3 Heal
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8 Heal
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5 Heal
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5 Heal
I see what you're promises are worth.

Mukluk stores the gear from G11, carrying what he can, passing out some to others to carry (unless someone wants something).
Looking to see if the weapons or armor were picked up by anyone.
I'm presuming you took the vials, although you did not say so specifically.
5x Spellcraft checks if you want to identify their contents.

DM Panic |

It's probably worth mentioning that I show Petrel is 10lbs into medium encumbrance now that he looted the storeroom, so his move is 20ft.
(I know he only moved 15ft this last round)
leather 15
brass knuckles 1
daggers x6 6
hand xbow 2
xbow case 1
bolts 10 1
backpack 2
clothing 3
thieves tools 1
2 bags of caltops 2
50ft silk rope 5
grappling hook 4
smokesticks(2) 1
TOTAL 44#
MEDIUM is 34-66#

I did take everything that anyone didn't want. I'll do the spellcrafting when after this fight.

DM Panic |

Yeah, you're fine with the crossbow and bolts.
I was just trying to understand what M.M. took of the 5 vials, 4 rapiers, 8 daggers, 2 light crossbows, and 1 longsword along with the 3 suits of leather armor.
I think Pain's trying to say he took it all since he's an uber-dwarf that's never slower than 20ft.
Let's go ahead and play it that he took the vials (easy), the daggers, rapiers, longsword and 1 crossbow. I think that's enough items hanging off his body without adding the 3 suits of leather armor.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Mukluk as you've been shambling about with the armory attached to your dwarven body, you can't help but to notice the fine craftsmanship of one of the rapiers and the longsword.
In fact, you're fairly sure that those two items were dwarven-forged.
Yes, it also means they are masterwork quality.

I stayed up way too late playing Bastion & was slow to turn on the computer this morning.
Damn, those Bastion trailers have a Firefly/Serenity vibe to them, don't they? Looks interesting.
I'll put it on the list.

Doruk |

Martigan will stay in the hallway under the assumption that not only is he incapable of moving silently, the entire floor is rigged to fall out from under the cord pulling horn talkers.
Awesome!

Happy 3-week anniversary of the start of this game!
I've decided that you guys should go ahead and start planning your 2nd level. You won't achieve it until Cyrathas has been dealt with (either by combat or negotation).
Here's what you all have accomplished in terms of encounters (will be 9 total), but after the guild house is the best break you'll get to make leveling feel smooth for a while.
Ruffians EL1
Barge End Chase EL2
Stirges EL2
Sick Room EL3
Storage Room Trap EL1
Dalta EL3
Spider Closet EL1
Chamber of Veils EL3
Cyrathas ??

Sweet.
I'm taking a level of Aristocat next!

DM Panic |

Begin commencing your upgrade to level two while you chat with Cyrathas.
Let me know when you're done and summarize the results here, too.
You can also post mundane transactions you would like to perform in town in the OOC thread and I'll let you know the outcome. Depending on your transactions, we may do brief roleplay vignettes in the IC thread (who knows, maybe Mukluk will find a nice bearded dwarven lass named Skar to sell things to).

Mukluk Muletender |

Mukluk fully intends to knock Cyrathas out so they can search his office for clues and confirmation of what he said. There is no way we are being fooled by this yahoo if we can help it.
That said, I'll begin to plan next steps.
How much downtime will there be between this act and the next? I might get some scribing in if I can.

Doruk |

+1 level Fighter
+8 hp (6 fighter, 1 constitution, 1 favored class)
+4 skills (2 fighter, 1 human bonus, 1 intelligence)
Perception, Acrobatics, Diplomacy, Sense Motive
+1 Feat: Power Attack
+1 BAB
+1 Fort Save
Class Ability: +1 bonus to CMD vs bull rush, drag, overrun or trip
I can use that shield next level with my guisarme and would be happy to carry it around for now. I can use it with my flail as well though I usually switch in combat so won't be pulling out the shield too (too many actions lost). We can sell it now too and I can buy something more mithrilly later to duck some of the armor penalties. Up to the party...
I'm updating my sheet now.

Aralynn Huntinghawk |

Zen Archer level 2
+6 HP's (5 Monk, 0 CON, 1 favored class)
+4 skills (4 Monk, 0 INT)
- acrobatics, perception, sense motive, swim
Monk Bonus Feat: Combat Reflexes
Weapon Focus Longbow (replaces Evasion for Zen Archer)
+1 BAB (Flurry is up to 0 from -1)
+1 all saves
Aralynn is still on the lookout for a kama to replace the dagger she picked up. She'd also be interested in a temple sword (in Advanced Gear section of PRD) if she came across one. Don't know if there are any zombies or similar, but being unable to deal with DR slashing is unexcusable. Just preparing for the worst.

That depends on what you guys choose to do, and when. I simply assumed you'd rest the night after these events, so the next morning is all up to you guys how you split up/stay together/what-you-do-next.
Remember I use a house rule for scribing scrolls, I'll let you get up to your primary stat modifier in scrolls scribed in a single day, at 2 hours a pop for the ones that are cheap. And you don't need the spell floating in your brain to put it to paper. But you do need to roll checks to scribe.
Won't know what I'm buying until the money situation is sorted out.
Begin sorting said situation...
There's not much more incoming coming into the party unless you want to kill and loot whatever Cyrathas has that he's not telling you about ;)
Greyhawk being the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the Flanaess, pretty much anything imaginable can be purchased. You'll be able to find both of these once you divvy up your share of the loot. Because of the exotic nature of both items, I have a NPC vignette planned for these "exotic" purchases, so we'll get to that once you guys get out of the Green Dagger inn and rest for a night.

Petrel |

Petrel will add +1 rogue.
Rogue talent: weapon traning (= weapon focus, dagger)
+1 bab, +1 ref, evasion
Skills 8 +1 human
Acrobatics, Appraise, Bluff, Climb, Disable Device, Disguise, Knowledge Local, Sleight of Hand, Stealth
HP +8 (5 + 2 con +1 favored class)
+masterwork dagger "sheath which holds a slightly curved dagger with a brass handle shaped into the head of a bird-of-prey."

Aralynn Huntinghawk |

This one is tempting if things continue to be close quarters and Doruk does more tripping. It's also just Aralynn's style.
Vicious Stomp (Combat)
You take advantage of the moment to brutally kick an enemy when he is down.
Prerequisites: Combat Ref lexes, Improved Unarmed Strike.
Benefit: Whenever an opponent falls prone adjacent to you, that opponent provokes an attack of opportunity from you. This attack must be an unarmed strike.
