Resting in the Dreamlands

So if the PC's are in the Dreamlands and they rest:
1. How much time passes in the waking world?
2. What happens to their bodies and are they aware if they are taking damage/dying?
3. If the PC's occur physical ability damage/drain, i.e. str, dex con damage, do they still have that when they return to the dreamlands?

1. Very little. According to the Dreamlands planar traits the bodies of lucid dreamers can spend years in the Dreamlands while only a few hours pass in the waking world.

2. They sleep. There doesn't seem to be a rules mechanic for them to notice anything in the waking world.

3. PCs arrive in the Dreamlands in the physical and mental condition they had when they ended the ritual, modified by the backlash damage and any dreamlands equipment.

Sovereign Court

I'll add the following: any madnesses accrued in the Dreamlands only affects them in real world. When they go back to the Dreamlands, they are madness-free. This created an interesting situation in my game where the paladin went crazy after encountering a Great Old One, and lost his paladinhood in the real world, whereas when he is dreaming, he is still a full blown, shiny paladin... ;)
