Does anyone still have their hands on any of these things distributed during the initial marketing push for 5E? I'm having trouble finding the old stuff they sent out telling people how to discuss the thing as retailers and spokespeople.

Here ya go, it isn't everything you're looking for but it is the first instance I was able to dredge up where they began talking about D&D Next.
The site also has some pretty robust in-site link backups so navigation around that archive should be pretty headache free with the exception of slow load times.
Very interesting to look at, and even earlier than that back to around 2012 I poked my head in and noticed that even then they seemed to be on the same track in that they REALLY did not EVER want to talk about "Editions" after they launched 4e.
Here is another link specifically to their media page area, but to be honest, it looks like it wasn't preserved too well and even then, the actual DETAILS they seem to have released there were VERY sparse at the time I was looking under (Early Aug 2014).
