So we were running a combat, and the party's intrepid technomancer got himself grappled by a horrific flying fungus monster.
Things were looking pretty bad when he used FLASH TELEPORT to escape the creature's clutches.
As the DM, reading that the magic hack didn't provoke an AOO, and going with Rule-of-Cool, I let him teleport and escape the monster.
Thoughts on if this was, strictly speaking, by the book?

The technomancer ability is spell like, and so provokes when cast, even if the subsequent movement doesn't provoke.
The witchwarper version is supernatural, and doesn't have that ability.
I asked them years ago to errata the technomancer one to be supernatural, which I think is what they originally intended. They haven't done anything about it, though.

Should have said the WW ones doesn't have that problem.
And I note that the Conjuration School Specialist archetype in Galactic Magic has the Blink ability, which is also Supernatural and works like Flash Teleport. So I think it's fair to say that the Techno version should also have been Supernatural and not provoke when used.

yeah, that's how i mistakenly played it.
it doesn't quite make sense as a spell-like b/c it also costs an RP. it's just a spell, in any event, which the technomancer would have on their spell list. gotta be an errata.
