There is a youtube channel called "How It's played" which has a good playlist of rules overviews for Starfinder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEei3frVCXg&list=PLYCDCUfG0xJaiOsB99j8 H3wyI8gGbxPuP)
The other, more obvious thing would be to read the core rule book and run a intro scenario from the society (I head good things about "Starfinder Society Scenario #4-08: Precious Cargo").
Alternatively run your own level 1 game with your friends.

I'm preparing to GM Junker's Delight and it seems to be very newbie-friendly.
Perhaps listening to some podcasts, though the ones I'd recommend are a bit old - Roll For Combat, Cosmic Crit - and don't have all the resources currently available.

How to build a society character Ignore the society stuff if not playing that way , but this will help you build a character and has a mile high view of the rules, this should get you onto the learning curve and let you start learning.
