starting a organized game

I've ran other organized games AL and SR in the past . Was looking to start a Starfinder game and was wondering what all was needed to run one? Any links to information or help would be appreciated.

Where is "here"? You might be surprised at how widespread Society is.

Technically all you NEED is a pfs number and a scenario. But much like you CAN just go hiking in the woods naked its not the best idea. You should have pockets full of stuff. And pants for the pockets. for the stuff.

I would highly recommend playing a few games first, even if you've been dming since redbox each society game has a few quirks of its own you probably want to see in action as a player before trying to run.

There used to be a Starfinder Society community down there (I'm in Sacramento). The former Venture Captain for your region actually lived in Fresno.

While it's not terribly close, there will probably be Starfinder offered at DunDraCon next February, if you're up for a 3 hour drive and can take the holiday weekend off ^_^

DunDraCon would be nice, i haven't been to con since covid started. I will join the discord server, And hopefully you feel better soon. I have been watching some streamed games and video on space combat and other mechanics of the game.
