"Undead!!!!:
Rahela frantically loads her crossbow with a blunt bolt and fires it at the left most (unengaged) skeleton
to hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
"A hit!! I HIT it"
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Assuming a normal skeleton that should hit and destroy it
"Fascinating. The stories are true. They just disintegrate when shot"
Sisu Desisl
assuming it is a normal skeleton, it would have DR 5/bludgeoning so you would have only hit it for 3 :P
GM Sarah
Round 1-Bold may go
Niralzi
Sisu
Chellian
Rahela
Skeleton
Malakos
Niralzi's arrow bounced right off skeletons rib bone. Rahela's blunt crossbow bolt hit the skeleton and destroyed it.
The remaining skeleton moves up to Chellian and attacks with its broken scimitar. It swings and misses her completely.
Attack: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Malakos Grimsight
Malakos will fire summon his innate destructive magic to fire off a Force Missile
Force Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
"These skeletons are almost like a nuisance at this point!"
Sisu Desisl
Assuming that we roll into round 2
Sisu circles around the skeleton to get into flanking position with Chellian and smashes into the remaining skeleton with her claws
Attack (left): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Claws are B/S damage
Sisu Desisl
Blunt bolt. Does bludgeoning
Yeah I saw that afterwards but too late to edit or delete the post
GM Sarah
And the skeleton dies after Sisu's attacks. Nothing else of notice happens as you make your way back into town.
On the way back to town you come across one of the five posting poles, they are strategically placed all around town. This one is on the north side of town on the east bank of the river.
Congratulations to Mikel and Karina Ollensben on their wedding this past week.
More cats and dogs have gone missing this week, unknown reasons.
Deputy Riff and Vrodish of the Ravengro Jail cannot help as farmhand this week at the outlying homesteads, inquire at the jail.

"What do you think could be happening to the animals? I dont like the idea of something happening to some poor childs pet."
She began somberly. It was clear she had a memory of a small critter from her younger days.
Sisu Desisl
"Agreed. Let's see if we can find some of these people who have lost their pets and see what we can do to help"
GM Sarah
hey guys been in a bit of a slump the past couple days. So Sorry to stall us.
After reading the board Upon reaching one of the farms on the way out of town you meet with Farmer Mosser one of the locals who put up a missing pet notice.
"Ah, yar mus' be thems new folks here in town, ta wat do I owe these please o' your visit?" He nods his head along as one of you speaks up about the missing pet notice. "oh praises, the night bafore last there was sometin that broke into our dog shed and 2 a my herdin' dogs were missing, there were some tracks that followed the stream towards that there wooded area outta town."
Malakos Grimsight
Introducing this merry band of intrepid adventurers, "Farmer Mosser, my name is Malakos and my companions and I are here to," adding a long exasperated sigh to his explanation, shaking his head as he is unable to maintain his near-heroic composure, "save your dogs,"
Looking to his companions for some help, "You said there were some tracks down by the stream? I guess we can take a look at them, maybe it was a wolf or a bear that took your dogs,"
Malakos will head over to the indicated area looking around for tracks.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Sisu Desisl
Sisu follows the others, uncharacteristically quiet as she helps Rahela survey the ground.
Survival to aid Rahela: 1d20 ⇒ 16
GM Sarah
With your combined Survival checks you are able to find some animal tracks along with some other foot prints. You follow the stream into a small wooded area and come across a small clearing where 4 goblins are roasting a animal on a spit and you see another animal, dog like in shape tied to a stump.
As you get closer to the goblin camp you can hear them singing:
Goblins cook, Goblins eat
Fire makes it tasty treat!
Spin the doggie nice and slow
Doggie is better than crow!
Goblins cook, Goblins eat!
Doggie is yummy meat.
Goblins cruel and goblins crude!
Goblins love to play with food!
Malakos: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Sisu: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Chellian: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Rahela: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Niralzi: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Goblins: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Suprise Round you all get 1 standard action. I have placed you on the MAP
It is a DC 10 to swim across the stream
DC 12 to acrobatics across the log
The map is 5 foot squares
Round 1-Suprise round-bold may go
Niralzi
Rahela
Goblins
Chellian
Malakos
Sisu
Sisu Desisl
Sisu approaches the stream, ready to swim across and confront the somehow rather cute they're singing! gobs.
Malakos Grimsight
Trudging through the forest with his companions as they follow the tracks of these creatures, once they hear the song of goblins singing, Malakos groans, "Goblins, of course it'd be goblins that steal a dog"
Malakos will also advance towards the river's edge, preparing his magics as he goes.
Chellian Oaks
"Goblins are stealing the pets? No! Nasty things!"
She readied her glaive and studied the terrain. She could make it across that easy enough with a jump she thought.
doing nothing in the surprise round.

Attempts at fascinating not appearing to work, Niralzi will swim across the river taking ten for the strength check.
Upon completing her full movement, Niralzi’s usually smiling eyes turn a steely gray as she uses her Unnerving Gaze attack on the closest two goblins and if applicable the goblin dog.
I’m assuming the swim part counts as double movement but not a standard action. sorry I can’t move my figure still.
GM Sarah
the dog is the farmers dog, not a goblin dog also i totally missed that you were attempting to fascinate, my bad
Red Goblin Will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
Yellow Goblin will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10
After failing their will saves the 2 goblins closest to Niralzi become shaken.
The goblins move towards the water and one of them picks up his sword and charges Niralzi. The goblin at the spit continues to cook the farmers dog.
Charge attack - shaken: 1d20 + 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 - 2 + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
And with a valiant swing of his short sword its misses Niralzi.
Round 2-bold may go
Niralzi
Rahela
Goblins
Chellian
Malakos
Sisu
Malakos Grimsight
Malakos will look at the Goblin furiously spinning the dog on a spit and conjure up some arcane energies to bombard him!
Force Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
"I must say, these goblins are a much more welcome sight then possessed scythes!"
Sisu Desisl
Sisu jumps in the water to cross over to the Goblins' side
Swim: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
...and finds herself forgetting how to cross a simple stream...
Fortunately I only failed by 2 so not able to cross but at least I'm not underwater :D Also, not sure which square I should be in since both squares are half land half water. If I'm in the farther right one I might still be able to attack, if in the farther left one then I can't. Pls let me know.
Chellian Oaks
She thought about trying to run and jump across but with the goblins already there on the waters edge she thought maybe she shouldnt risk it. Instead she moved quickly to where she saw the log, moving to hopefully cross the water to get to the other side.
DOuble moving will put her there on the map, nto sure if there is a check i need to make crossing the log.
Sisu Desisl
Sisu lunges forward with her spear at the closest Goblin (RED)
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
GM Sarah
Chellian's Acrobatics check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
After almost losing her balance Chellian makes it across the log and onto the other side of the water.
Sisu's spear bounces off of the goblin's hide armour at the last moment.
"Longshanks can try to take doggie aways froms us, but you wont wins! HAHA HA!"

Perform, recorder: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
GM Sarah
Red's will save VS Daze: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4
Don't forget Niralzi's Inspirse courage +1 to A/D
Rahela's daze takes hold and the goblin just stands there for the moment, with a dumbfound look on its face.
Round three-bold may go
Niralzi-
Rahela
Goblins
Chellian
Malakos
Sisu-2 damage
The other two goblins move up and attack Sisu and Niralzi.
Blue vs Sisu: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2 a hit
Yellow vs Niralzi: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2 another miss!
Sisu Desisl
Aha! The fun part of ranged weapons is that when they move in to attack me I get and AoO (since they are leaving the threatened 10' away area)...so AoO against Blue.....misses.
AoO: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8
Sisu swipes at Blue as he comes up to hit her and misses. Taking a deep breath, she takes a step back and stabs at him again.
AoO: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 = 10
and misses again.
Malakos Grimsight
Malakos will fire another force Missile at the one spinning the dog on a spit!
"Is that dog even save-able?!"
Force Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Chellian Oaks
She roared out in fury as she rushed forward torwards the two goblins keeping her new friends on the wrong side of the stream. Despite rushing forward she had wits enough to stop completely and set her feet thrusting at the one directly across from her.
charging power inspired attack RED: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 2 + 1 - 1 = 23
damage: 1d10 + 6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 + 1 = 14
"Leave the dogs alone vile creatures!"
She spat out in her fury.
AC is down to 14 for the moment due to the charge.

I believe that I also get an attack of opportunity:
Still reeling from her tumble, Niralzi swipes at the goblin.
Rapier, vs Yellow: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 + 1 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5
GM Sarah
The goblin spining the spit drops in a pile of blood from Malakos force missiles.
Charging up to another Goblin, Chellian thrusts her glaive forwards and cuts him in half.
The goblin that charged Niralzi doesn't look to good either, coughing blood and having a hard time standing after her rapier stabbed him in the stomach.
Round 4-bold may go
Niralzi-
Rahela
Goblins
Chellian
Malakos
Sisu-2 damage
Only the blue goblin hasnt been damaged and the yellow one is on its last leg the other 2 are dead or bleeding out

Emboldened by her first success, Niralzi continues to Inspire Courage with her recorder and stabs at the Yellow goblin.
Rapier, Inspired: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 + 1 = 16
damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
Happy Holidays!!
GM Sarah
Rahela again tries her magic to confuse and disorient the Goblins, magic swirling from her fingertips as she casts her spell.
Blue goblin will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12 And the goblin is stood fast, dumb founded by the magic that has overtaken him!
Niralzi finds her footing and pokes the yellow goblin with the pointy end of her rapier, a stream of blood spills from its belly as it falls over, croaking and gasping, dead.
With the last remaining goblin dazed, the rest of you are able to easily dispatch the last remaining goblin! He never stood a chance.
Taking in the area you discover one of the dogs is tied to a post but is unconscious, likely due to a severe bonk to the head from a goblin but you guys believe it is otherwise alright. However The dog on a spit doesn't appear to have made it through his ordeal alive.
Looking around though it appears the Goblins have been raiding Ravengrow for a while now and a number of items are strewn about. Some items may even be salvageable.
You find a bag of rocks, but within the bag there are a few noteworthy "gems" that stand out. You are able to find a small Azurite, an Onyx, and a rock quartz, all told the three "gems" maybe worth 50gp collectively.
Among the other items you find that haven't yet been destroyed by the goblins some Blacksmith Artisan's Tools, 2 x Bag of Common Spice, 2 x Bolt of Linen, a Pair of Oars, 12 x Pole (10'), a Portable Ram, a Rake and a Small Magnet.
Malakos Grimsight
Malakos will walk over to the river's edge, looking at the deepening water and then to his dry robes, mumbling to himself he'll look to his spellbook, flipping through pages.
Calling out to his companions, "Guys, I forgot to prepare Prestidigitation today, so I have no way of drying myself if I swim through this water, I'll hold down this side of the river in case we get attacked from this side,"
Looking to everyone, nodding as if this argument makes sense.
Rahela
Rahela shakes her head, then walks through the water to the other side.
Once there, she will first tie a rope around the dog to stop it from running away in fear and then will try and revive the dog while crooning to it softly to reassure it
She'd try and wade across the stream. If it was too deep, she'd jump across
acrobatics: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
heal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

These stones look like they might be worth a trip back to town! Shall we bring back the goods as well - perhaps offering them back to the local sheriff to return to townspeople that may have reported them missing?
Malakos Grimsight
Looking around at his companions, ”Well looks like we got this one, saved some dogs or well a dog but we did our best, without us both dogs would’ve died,”
Standing at the edge of the water, ”We can try taking all that stuff back with us, give it to the guard to help sort out claims. As far as the gems, those look like pretty rocks the goblins collected, we can probably just sell those!”
Sisu Desisl
"I agree on both fronts. The dogs and the stuff should go back to the village, but I say we keep the stones unless someone specifically mentions them as missing"
Holidays finally over for me. Starting tomorrow I can be posting regularly.
