So all in VR simulations in Dominion's End are based on Vheiransch's memories with some things edited out...
...That is fricking fascinating to me since it means all things you see in the simulation are things they already knew about as one simulation reveals if they didn't know about it then simulation doesn't either.
Either way, there are two particular simulations I'm curious about: The medical and education simulation. With party simulation being to celebrate Vheiransch's partner going to spawn their spawnling, you'd think story would be "party is to celebrate it, medical simulation is their spawnling's birth, education is their spawnling's academic success", but there is one big hint that isn't the case:
Medical Miracles simulation starts with "You can tell with will save that physician said something different" and 19 hours of waiting also implies something went wrong. In otherwise, I think both the partner and spawnling perished in the simulation and that education simulation is either Vheiransch's childhood memory when they were in school(all of education subjects are something they used in Ark Prime) or their wishful thinking (as Education simulation is Vheiransch AI directly trying to brainwash characters, so in otherwords it could be only simulation that isn't based on any memories)
Like there is no confirmation either way that is the case (and Vheiransch would still be evil as hell elitist), but it does add extra layer of tragedy to them that isn't directly spelled out but is implied :D (alternative possibility IS that partner died and spawnling survived, but weird nature of education simulation makes me think its either Vheiransch's own childhood memory or imagining how successful their spawnling could have been if they survived)
Given the final simulation I don't think the spawnling died, it is definitely very ambiguious what actually happened in the Medical Miracles given how specific the stuff in it is.
The simulation seems to want you to just sit and wait, which implies to me most of that simulation comes from memory that you glitch into.

The education simulationn weirds me out because 1) its only one where Vheiransch is taking direct control of the characters (education) 2) description of how Vheirancsh talks about the "your spawnling" sounds like they are describing himself(as in how important they are for survival of species)
Thats why I'm wondering whether child in education is Vheiransch's child, Vheiranch himself or what Vheirancsh would have wished for their child it had survived. Since unlike other ones, its not necessary based on actual memory of Vheiranchs as narrative of that one is directly controlled by the AI
