New player really wants help to get involved!

Hi all!

I'm Sienna, a young trans woman from the UK, and I'm totally new to doing any kind of organised play like this whatsoever, with my experience mostly being playing DnD with a few friends at home and I'd really like to get involved!

I have been reading through the core rulebook, and Advanced Players Guide with great interest, but would really appreciate a proper sit down with someone to help figure out how I would participate in Society games, and to make sure I'm building a character that is interesting and fun to play as well!

Is there any kind of mentor program or similar that could help with this? I would really really appreciate it, thanks!

I'm a fellow trans woman from the UK so hopefully I can be of good help to you :)

Are you on discord at all? As there is a whole bunch of communities that are SUPER helpful and friendly, if you are, feel free to pop me a friend request (GayMerGirl#3564) and I can help direct you from there. If you aren't on discord, I would very much recommend taking a look at it because of the above, but also because a lot of the games take place there.

As for participating in games, theres a few ways of getting started with playing online, if you prefer VTT (so playing in real time using a voice comms program and something like Roll20 or Foundry), Warhorn has listing of more games than you can shake a stick at (London Pathfinders run games quite regularly).

If Play By Post is more your pace, there are some Discord servers that have them, the Paizo boards here host a bunch and also the Mythweavers site.
