Class Spell list vs known spell list?

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

Asked this one in the past on rules forum. Mainly an ask the GM sort of thing (RAW is pretty clear, but most GMs would rule it the other way). Wondering what the PFS guys think on it. It is just a rules question, though, even if my uses are PFS specific.

For the purposes of Use Magic Device on Wands and Scrolls, are spells that you can cast as part of your class, but not spells specifically added to your spell list, considered to be on your spell list for related UMD checks?

This isn't unique to a single class, but does come up more with casters that have spells known instead of spells in a spellbook. It matters more in PFS, since characters are unable to make their own wands and scrolls, rather having to rely on the generic versions.

For example, If a PFS Cleric has a spell in their chosen Domain, is that spell considered to be a spell on spell list for the purposes of using wands or scrolls of that spell in PFS?

In further example, said PFS Cleric has the Fire Domain and obtains a Scroll of Burning Hands. Despite being a Domain spell that the cleric can cast, RAW it is not added to the Cleric's spell list. So, to use this scroll, does the PFS Cleric with the Fire Domain need to roll a UMD check to emulate a class that has this spell on their spell list, then emulate the ability score required (if their's is not adequate)?

Or, since PFS scrolls are divine and Arcane, do we assume that the cleric can use the scroll because that's reasonable?

That example is clerics. Comes up with just about any class that adds spell known from other classes. Very rarely (maybe never) does the language for adding spells known also add to the spell list, despite this rather obvious complication with the UMD usage.

I don't know about anything PFS-specific, but in general, if you get an off-list spell known, it is now on your list. Think of the Cleric as having split (but overlapping) spell lists: Core and (usually) 2 Domain. An exception where you can cast an off-list spell but don't get it on your spell list would be the off-list spells that Spell Sage Wizard can cast. An exception where you get a spell on your list but can't cast yourself it as a spell (but don't need a UMD check) would be the Summoner getting skipped levels of Summon Monster (the Summoner's spellcasting skips some levels of Summon Monster, but the Summoner's Summon Monster spell-like ability explicitly covers them and even can be used to meet the prerequisites for magic item creation). As far as I can tell from everything I have read on these messageboards (including about Cleric Domain choice), most other means of getting off-list spells work normally.
