So can a GM remove a player from a campaign?

Online Campaigns General Discussion

I accidently signed up for a Starfinder Society Scenario i already played and since i have no clue if i am able to replay or if i want to replay that scenario i let the GM in a message and the others know in a post that i want to be removed from that campaign can this be done for a play by post game if you have already dotted into Gameplay thread for that Campaign and are listed with a character and as a player?

Liberty's Edge

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

If you hide the Gameplay thread, that will take the campaign off of your Campaigns list. The GM can also remove you from the active players list, which will have the same effect.

Right now i have no option to hide it. GM has to remove me from active players list or make the whole campaign inactive.

Yes, the GM can mark you as inactive by editing the campaign through the Campaign Info tab.

John Woodford doesn't mean you can hide the campaign, which would require the campaign to be inactive. If you go to the Play by Post Gameplay forum, find the thread in the list, and then click on the ∅ symbol at the far right of the screen, it will hide the gameplay thread, which will also hide the campaign in your Campaigns tab.

The first option is a lot easier, though it does require the GM to do it for you.

Oh, that's a whole new world. Then i will hunt that thread donw so that i don't confuse the two running campaigns and post something random into the wrong campaign.

Thanks!
