I don't usually reply to CS posts, but as it might take some time before you get an official reply, and I know the answer, here:
The spell cards were not part of the subscription because they were releasing all at the same time and the total price might have been too high for the average subscriber.If you look at any of the product pages (Divine one here), you can see a text similar to this:
Product X is not included in any of our subscriptions.
[Edit:] Uh... It's not there anymore, maybe because it's released? Katina Davis still mentioned it in the comment section, here a quote:
Thanks for your questions! These spell cards will not be part of the subscription, nor will they have a PDF version. I have updated the product description for clarification.
BTW, the "No PDF version" kinda changed later, as you can now buy a digital version with JPGs of the cards. The digital version was given to every subscriber that preordered before a certain date though. You could maybe still try to ask for it as you have missed that news. It was part of the blog post about Accessories going digital.
