Hello guys, I recently got myself some skeleton warrior action figures but I thought they would work fantastically as giant skeletons in a game.
Then a mental image came to me of a big skeleton with intestines and guts still in its body, only the guts are some kind of creature?
My own guts are tell long me it was probably something from 3.5 edition D&D I think.
Could anyone help identify what this undead monster was?! I’ve looked and looked online but can’t find anything. I’d looked through my Pathfinder and fifth edition D&D books to see if there’s anything similar in there but nope. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of my 3.5 D&D stuff anymore.
Thanks!

My instinct is the mohrg, a skeleton with masses of intestines in their gut that extend into a clawed tentacle that protrudes from their mouth. They're definitely a D&D type monster and I always saw them as being semi-puppetted by the animated intestines, though technically I don't think the intestines are intended to be the actual creature.
Pretty sure this is the D&D 3.5 Art
