Fey Revisited (Errata / FAQ)

Grand Lodge

Pg. 8 - Amalya stat block

1) All druids need to be some form of neutral. Amalya's alignment should be changed to either CN or NG.

2) In her melee attacks, she's not using both attacks at the same time, so the club and dagger attacks should be separated by an "or".

Pg. 20 - Fyndylsnitch the Shadowking stat block

In the Bestiary 2 errata thread, it was pointed out that leprechauns have the Weapon Finesse feat and are applying its effects to their club attacks, however clubs are not eligible to be affected by this feat. Rather than change the weapon since it's a useful part of their spell-like abilities, I opted to allow it with a house rule by adding the following sentence to the end of their leprechaun magic ability:

"Additionally, as long as a leprechaun's constant shillelagh spell-like ability is in effect, they may treat clubs as light weapons for the purpose of Weapon Finesse."

Fyndylsnitch is interesting here, however, in that he kept his Weapon Finesse feat, but the designer recognized that clubs aren't eligible for it and so wrote his stats correctly according to the rules.

A GM should consider either adopting my house rule (changing his melee line to "Melee +1 club +10 (1d8+1)") or possibly switching out his Weapon Finesse feat for something more useful.

Assuming you are referring to the 1E book Fey Revisited which was published in 2013. Combine its age with the focus on 2E and you are not going to see any errata incorporated in this book. It is highly unlikely it will be reprinted whenever the existing stock is exhausted. In fact, they have cut the price by 50% presumably because they have so many laying around and they want to clear it out.

Now that the Campaign Setting product line has been replaced with the Lost Omens product line, commentary regarding the 1E products can look very odd. At first glace it appeared your comments were relating to recent material published in a Lost Omens book. When I originally skimmed over your post, I was going to correct your assertion that druids must be neutral, but that is a 2E thing so I had to rewrite this commentary.

Good luck

I'm aware. This isn't to get the attention of any developer to make corrections or release another printing of a 1e book, I create these FAQ/Errata threads specifically for people like me who want to update their old books and would benefit with having one place to look for all potential corrections that they'll need to add in themselves.
