ok so for the last while I've been slowly working on a homebrew oracle mystery and curse that would go with the mystery also if comparing it to other classes i think it would have a feel in certain aspects like a druid and or bard to a certain extent perhaps in someways.

so far a number of revelations im toying around with tend to ether be increasing number of allies though not quite the same as just using a summon spell given at least one or 2 of the main ones depend a fair amount on what type of environment currently in like one i was thinking would cause a friendly swarm creature to appear like if was in a cave a bat swarm,desert scorpian swarm would appear and attack enemies.

another would cause fungi to grow and if a enemy walks through it would cause certain types of status effects on them or if its in a desert would have a number of cactus appear and if enemies tried moving through them they would receive piercing damage possible additional boosts as get more oracle levels perhaps.

the other aspect was things that strengthen allies like temporarily give them fast heal and later regen etc.

also plan to have a few RP focused revelations to choose from as well maybe a few minor non combat bonus spell like effects or such that is more typically useful for rp then combat or something.

i also am wanting to have the curse more or less be one of those types of curses that ties into the mystery as well theme wise its the curse that is stumping me most at the moment given thinking of a pros and a appropriate con is the main issue now i know one of the gimmicks of curse would be.

roll a dice maybe related to whatever race the character is and how long they typically live. so sorter lived would use a smaller dice perhaps then the a longer lived would use maybe. and depending on the roll every few years they would be required to do a specific activity depending on the mystery for most of the year give or take. and if they don't was thinking over time they would get ability score damage, in one or more of them till reaches something like 4-6. but if do the activity instantly get healed of the damage. but still have to deal with the downsides regarding the activity you will have to do. plus likely some con outside of the year though more easily managed then the one you would have that year or other length of time maybe swap pro lists with the year giving stronger ones then the rest of the time or something like that is what im toying with at the moment.

also having a bit of trouble with the final revelation but given have till reaching level 20 for it to be needed so less importance at the moment i think also the campaign im using it for is a high power campaign at least in the current incarnation being a bit OP isn't as much a problem though if i decided to use it in a smaller tier campaign i would likely reduce somethings but ya if anyone has possible suggestions or maybe questions on it (i find if someone asks questions about ideas often helps which is one reason i haven't been a clear about some of the stuff as i could've been while also giving some general idea of what im working on)
