As soon as the plague finishes its run of terror and we're getting back together for gaming, my group will be starting Strange Aeons, and I'm super excited! For those of you who have played through it I would like a bit of character advice as I'm worried that my build I've designed will be less effective in later levels. Primarily she's an intimidate rogue build intended to bounce randomly and chaotically around the battlefield giggling and demoralizing her enemies.
I have a PDF of my build design here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e_osHjX_W5ZmneGIYpnn7LIfr4AIahgQ/view?usp= drivesdk
From a roleplay perspective she's Chaotic Neutral, and often pretends to be a human child to garner sympathy or to lure a victim into a false sense of security. She's intended to be somewhat creepy. She casts no shadow. Is apparently fearless, giggling at the horrors around her. And disappearing from sight at a moments notice.
Anyway I would appreciate thoughts and criticisms of the character build!
Thanks!

From my understanding Intimidate, in particular, is a mind-affecting fear effect, so fearless and mindless creatures are immune to all uses of Intimidate.... There are creatures that are immune to mind-affecting in this AP. The build is nice and you will be useful in the campaign but you my be gimped during the play through. I'm dm'ing it now and I've only read up to the third book. I know book one by heart now and i can tell you theirs a bunch of enemies that are immune to mind-affecting spells and abilities. I hope I didn't spoil it for you. Just wanted you to be warned.

I recently finished running the campaign. One of our party was a Psychic with a number of mind-affecting spells. He did indeed find a large number of creatures throughout the AP were immune to those effects. However, he ensured he had other options available. It is also important to note that, even towards the end of the AP, there were still enemies that COULD be affected by these spells.
From what you describe, although you are built around intimidate, you are still a rogue, and should still be able to do normal roguish things against other enemies. Creature knowledge in the group might also help you determine what things are immune to mind-affecting.
