Mystic Epiphanies and Connection Powers

Can I take a lower level connection power at a higher level if I chose an epiphany the previous level?
Example:
If (at level one) I take the "Empowered Healing Touch" epiphany,
may I then (at level three) take the first level Healer connection power of "Healing Channel"?
Or do I (at level three) have to take the third level Healer connection power of "Lifelink" (or another epiphany, obviously)?

Probably just wishful thinking on my part! Thank you in advance for any help.

So, I would have to take the third level power? Or are you saying I posted to the wrong place?

I think you have to take your connection powers at the levels you’re supposed to or you miss out on them. You can clearly trade a connection for a lower level of epiphany, but there is no rule allowing you to trade your connection power to regain a lower level connection power you already traded away for an epiphany.
