Has there been an AP that features an archdevil?

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

As above, I'm wondering if there is an AP that features the PC's encountering an archdevil or duke of Hell in some capacity or for some purpose?

I am... pretty sure that you do so in two of the paths.

spoiler:
Hell's Rebels and Wrath of the Righteous

That I know of.

This Adventure Path doesn’t involve confronting an archdevil directly, but the campaign ties into Mammon in a very strong way.

Depends on what you mean by this term.

I've just always thought it would be great to have an adventuring party occasionally able to make a difference with things on a cosmic scale, even if it's a minor way. I did see this with the occasional module in some of the earlier editions of D&D.

I get that permanently closing he worldwound would probably be overall bad for the gaming world, same with getting Asmodeus out of Cheliax. The fact that they're there is what makes it interesting!

Still, taking out a demon lord or a balor, or making Hell have to restructure itself because you killed a duke of Hell or an archduke is what I think epic gaming is all about. I have just very rarely seen it.

Not to mention, CotCT.

Alright, thanks for the feedback. I've played CoCT and really enjoyed it, and currently we're in the last third of Kingmaker.

When I've asked around it seems like Hell's Rebels, War for the Crown, Ironfang Invasion, and Mummy's Mask (except the last 2 chapters) are some of the favorites Paizo has ever published.

Not all of them involve a super-epic clash with demons or devils (or the Four Horsemen, hint hint), but at least one or two of them do. I think I've got a good direction for our next AP.

If you're looking for a super-epic clash with demons (which are a distinctly different thing in Pathfinder than devils), then Wrath of the Righteous fits the bill perfectly.

Appreciate your feedback and help James! I listened to your interview at Roll for Combat which took place a few months ago and enjoyed it. Maybe I'll even switch to 2e one of these days. In the meantime I've got some APs to play.
