Problems reporting my events

Hey all

Perhaps a really dumb question, but I've just started running Starfinder Society events. I reported the first one that I have GMd, which was event 2696481

My understanding is that I earn fame/rep for running these, but it doesn't seem to have applied to my character, which is 2366852-705. (that's my first character, I got utterly confused during creation and didn't understand what 701-704 was and wound up deleting them). I did manage to get the players reported right and they've said that they're showing correctly, and I have a point of GM credit, however my character doesn't seem to have earned any fame for it.

I logged in today to try to get it fixed, and, uh, this might be related or it might not, but... when I logged in today, on the https://paizo.com/organizedPlay/myAccount page I normally have a tab that says 'boons', but it seems to be gone. Have I broken it?

I'm sure that I've made a total mess for it, I'm really sorry. How should I fix this?

There's some updates happening in the reporting right now to fix some things for 2nd edition that have broken things. Check it again in a day or two. If you still don't see the fame, you might have forgotten to fill in the GM prestige box for yourself.

Cool cool :) I won't lie, I've found it pretty confusing :D

@Tassador Currently fame does not calculate correctly for GM credits.

So, I didn't do anything wrong on my report form, then?
In that case, for the present should I just track it offline just like credits etc?

yes, for right now. and always, because the reporting stuff cannot track everything.

So I'm kinda confused how GM credits and faction reputation works, then. Can someone explain that to me in a really dumbed-down, idiot-level kind of a way?

You grant them to yourself (in the form of chronicle sheets) the same way that players do, and you should track them exactly the same way as you would if you only played.
