I'm really digging the Simar Communion concept (the clone-sister community orbiting Absalom Station), but was wondering how such a community's structure would look like?
Especially their leadership - do they have one? Is it based on seniority, merit, is it a council?
How do you run a community that's basically the same person, just at different stages in their lives?
Hope you guys can help.

There's zero information on this, you have to make it up.
The only fictional example of a cloned organization I know of is the Durona Group in Louis McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan series. They're a bunch of black market doctors cloned from the original Lily Durona, with all the females given plant/tree/flower names (Lots, Rose, Rowan, etc.) and a minority of male clones given bird names (Raven). I think there are only 30 or so of them (certainly not more than twice that), and they all defer to and follow Lily, who is over 100 years old, but with one defection and held together somewhat by outside forces that threaten them.

I've got one character from there, and I had to make up a lot. And a lot of it I'm still leaving vague as not-yet-relevant.
Here's the art I made of her recording one of her blogs.
I made this (long) list that my character will spout to any teammates that listen. Usually on a weeks long space flight.
Biggist sis Simar was the first of course. Then Trisha, but that didn't work out. Then Unita, Vala, and Wynne. When Xavia arrived we moved to our ship, and with Yuti things started to actually organize. Zoey was the last of the first set.
The second set was Aoife (it's pronounced ee-fa), Beatrice, Clara, Delphia, Eve, Felice, Garvita, Hema, Inara, Jane, Kaylee, Leuphira, Moira, Nadida, Oja, Priya, Quanda, Ragini, Sarah, Tavishi, Usha, Valini, Wamil, Xaria, Yasiman, and Zelda.
The next set was Amita, Bridget, Catherine, Daisy, Elenor, Falip, Grace, Hailey, Isis, Julie, Kathleen, Lydia, Meena, Niamh (nee-iv), Olivia, Penny, Quinn, Rose, Susmita, Tina, Ulka, Varsha, Wendy, Ximena, Yashi, and Zaci.
Then came Alice, Beverly, Cela (Selah), Diane, Elspeth, Fidelia, Ginny, Hirati, Isa, Jyoti, Karen, Laura, Michelle, Nancy, Opara, Penny, Qadira, Rita, Sophie, Tracy, Urbana, Veda, Winter, Xena, Yseult (ee-solt), and Zara.
In my generation are Abha, Brenda, Candace, Dorothy, Erin, Fiona, Gita, Hannah, Irene, Jenny, Kristen, Lily, Marcy, Nanya, Orset, Petra, Quess, Revhi, me, Tara, Ucchal, Vidya, Willow, Xandra, Yara, and Zazie.
And now we're on the 6th set! Amy, Becky, Carol, Dakshat, Emily, Fajyaz, Gloria, Heather, Ivana, and Jayazi. And Kelly arrived... 4 months ago!
Canon is unclear on the number of Simar, and not that explicit on how long they've been doing this. The naming schedule is entirely my creation. I decided to make them 1 year apart, all with the same birthday, and 123 years is a fun number. And the published art and story for some reason made me think a mix of Britain and India names fit best, with a few Golarian names thrown in.
As I wrote that nearly a year ago, I need to go find an L name.

Yeah, couldn't find much, which is why I started wondering and wanted some inspiration.
Those sound like some interesting books, I'll have to check them out. Thanks man!

And excellent idea on the names! I might just have to borrow that!
Thanks!
