Pact Worlds - Earth size comparison

General Discussion

When looking at the world maps in the Pact Worlds book I always had a little trouble to comprehend the scale of them. To me they looked more like regional maps than world maps.

Thus I decided to overlay a real world map for comparison.
I be upfront, it didn't turn out quite as well as I had hoped. I might work on it a bit more in the future (suggestions how to improve them are welcome).

I used maps found on ArtStation, drawn by Damien Mammoliti and of course copyrighted by Paizo

For the world map I used a Gall-Peters projection for accurate sizes found on Wikipedia.

I did not find maps for all planets, just Akiton, Triaxus, Castrovel and Aucturn. But as the diameter of the last one is not fixed I could not make a map comparison.
When someone has a legal source for maps of the other planets like Verces please comment and I will make another map for it.

I would have liked to embed the pictures here, but according to a quick google search this is not possible on this board, so you have to make do with links.

So for comparison, here the real world map I used:

Akiton (half the diameter of earth, so only a quarter the surface area)

Very cool! Thanks for doing that.

I did a redline which should make it a lot more visible.

Akiton:

Basically, Akiton is the size of Asia, India and North Africa combined. It also has craters (mining digs?) which are the size of Australia.

Castrovel

Asana, home of the Lashunta is a bit smaller than Europe, Asia and Africa combined.
The Colonies is about two times the size of South America, although not as compact.
The Elven continent of Sovyrian is rather small in comparison with about 2 times the size of Australia.
The unsettled continent of Ukulam is about the size of North America and Mexico. Maybe a little bit larger.

Triaxus:

The Drakelands are rather big, about two times the size of North America with the lake "Dahak's Claw" being as big as Mexico.
The Skyfire Mandate, even though it is just a landbridge, is twice as big as Europe.
Ning is about two Australias. The two islands Meruchia and Nusova are each about the size of Madagascar while the Sephorian Archipelago is about a quarter bigger than Japan.
Grenloch and Tirosh are about the size of India each.
The Allied Territories are a bit hard to judge, maybe 1 1/2 times the size of Africa.
