In 2012 or so I had this REALLY bad dream that my mom had been infested with some kind of centipede like parasites and this infestation was uncurable so she only had 2 weeks to live. It was SO vivid as soon as I woke up I went into my mom's room to make sure she was ok.
I have a recurring dream where I'm sitting beside a road and a cartoon platypus driving a black Cadillac (sometimes a convertible, sometimes not) stops and I get in and we drive around.
I have another recurring dream where I'm being chased by the government because they think I'm an alien, even though I'm not an alien and no one will believe that I'm not an alien.
I had an extremely vivid dream sometime in my teenage years where the world seemed to suddenly be getting really really hot and bright, then God - looking exactly like Zeus from that one Fantasia short with the centaurs - ripped the clouds open and sunlight and fire fell from the sky with blaring trumpets. All the fireballs followed people around like homing devices until they caught them, which caused the people to catch fire and burn to skeletons then collapse into piles of ash, pretty much exactly how people died in Mars Attacks. Then God looked right at me and pointed, and then I woke up.
The one where I wake up and find out I'm not a 12th level Paladin of Torm. SO you know...like a lot.
I really can't remember anything bad except for a night terror from when I was about 10. I dreamt I was being examined by aliens. After they were finished I heard a voice saying "Number 7 is finished. Send it back."
But soon after that I learned how to take charge of a dream that I didn't like and steer myself away into something else.
Worst dream I ever had.
So I had died and was outside the gates of this heaven like place. I was taking a multiple choice test to get in to heaven proper. The test seemed real easy so I was like sweet I got this. Then I was pulled back into my body (which I can only assume was resuscitated?) except My body was in a vegetative state. So I could see what was going on around me but couldn't do anything about it. That was the most horrified I've ever been from a dream. I have no idea what triggered the dream.

I wonder if any of these dreams are strong enough to create Animate Dreams.

I definitely hope not in my case.
