Just a button that sends standardized e-mails to everyone taking part in the game. Maybe with a link to the gameplay thread.

If they are able to read PMs they are already logged on to the forum and will probably post into their campaigns.
We need to address the people that forgot to check the forum in the first place.
You should ask prospective players to PM you their e-mail addresses before the game begins for that purpose. I know that Paizo wants to avoid automated emails (for thread updates, for example) because, as a retailer, they don't want providers to regard them as spammers and start blocking them.
