Succession Loyalties [Spoiler Alert]

Taken from Crownfall, there is a list of the Succession Loyalties, but i do not know all of them, and need some help to who the others are.
How did you handle the Crownfall Aftermath, Were there a grand funeral for Stavian III or many of the other Senators?

In the back of book 4, there's a breakdown of what we'll find in the next volume's back matter, and one of those reads:

I hope that we'll find out about all these other contending families there - I have the same questions.

That said, I like the idea of a funeral for Stavian III and the various senators - I'll probably work that into the week of downtime between the end of book 1 and the beginning of book 2. It might end in some kind of chaos as noble houses throw blame around, and really spark off a powder keg of resentment that drives more of these houses to declare for, say, Merkander or Phaeben (whoever they are) rather than the heirs of the mad prince who just killed their loved ones.

Thank you for the information, Then i hope it will tell us more about thise familys. Iam planning a grand week of morning the Stavians dead, aldo rumors have it that the Ulfen guard will not let any neer the palace or release the body.

Political and noble intrige in Oppra do to lost senators and the claim for the throne, to fuel the political background for the rest of the AP - so that characters maybe can seen agents to other parts to collect information of the succession line.

Also, I love the idea that even into book 4, as lines and loyalties are redrawn and more areas declare for Eutropia or Pythareus, the gnomes of Wispil continue to push for Starborne as ruler.

Might make for some interesting side quests, radical gnomes trying to put a gnome on the throne.

I suspect some candidates aren't so much trying for the Taldan throne as they are trying to secede and form their own nation.

Starborne is a good example but so is Thaena (who is apparently a Luna Naga! She's in the Module "The Dragon Demands").

Are we sure that's the same Thaena? I remember that lunar naga suffering from dementia and living in a bell tower near Wispil - before being killed by adventurers.

I just find it more likely that a noble house has the same name by coincidence than a senile snake woman managed to take control of a Taldan province.

I do like the idea of Wispil declaring independence as a gnome sovereign nation, though. That's actually what happened when I ran Dragon's Demand.

You're probably right to be honest. Still, it's the only Thaena I can find in that region. Hopefully "The Reaper's Right Hand" will give more details.

I have only skimmed book 5, and it looks like that the information is only on 8 families.

Do anyone known more about all of the succession loyalties players?

It seems that book 5 didn't really provide more information on the matter, besides adding more names to the list of potential candidates (some of which are known names, like Zespire and Kastner).

Personally I doubt there will be more canon information on this front. None of the others really play much of a part in the campaign so beyond the fact that they exist it isn't important enough for the books to get into it.

There is a brief mention of the Corcina family in the players guide.

I had Hope that the brilliant Crystal - had help out - before she left Pazio.

Do your players care - do you use it?

Agreed. But as I understand it she might still do some freelance work for Paizo in the future, and it's not like there isn't a possibility that she will visit the forums from time to time, so who knows.

I'm likely to have my first sessions in August as well.
As it stands, I think it's unlikely that my players will make much of a deal about it. None of my players to date have picked a noble family from the list above. But my players are usually very good at understanding what is and isn't plot significant information.

I am considering possibly doing a minor event to showcase the nation's split loyalties. Perhaps have the PCs pass by a rally for one of the minor candidates while travelling (the first part of Book 5 is probably a good spot for that). Though I'll wait for Book 6 to see what things look like as a whole before getting into too many tweaks on that front.
